Pros +
- Convenient location at the edge of the old city. Room was clean and ok, machine coffee in the room was actually rather good. Spa was 14 Euros extra (you can order with the room but it costs the same), some of it was ok. Lady at fromt desk spoke zero english and I have only basic spanish but she did make the effort and we could mostly communicate. But Hervas is so great that all of that doesn't really matter, had a lovely timr and for the price would have stayed for another couple of days if I had the time.
- spacious comfortable rooms with large balcony with stunning views able to put bikes on balconies lively spa and easy walk to jewish quarter
- huge hotel room, lots of space plus every room with balcony. The spa was wonderful, although the hot tub was not hot
Cons -
- Spa entrance was only for 1 h for the 14 Euros. Not sure anyone was checking and not sure there is much more to do there but as it's really deserted didn't see the point in imposing a time limit. Dry souna was not working, not sure if out of order or they were just saving energy. Pool and jacussi were full of bromine to the point were it was unpleasant. Some of the spa facilities were rather pointless but Turkish bath was refereshing. I tried to book a massage but communication was so bad I gave up and went without. Also there were no towels in the spa, which I only discovered after getting out of the water so had to walk back wet to the room. I accept that this is mostly for internal tourism but some materials in English or some other lingua franca for those of us not so furtunate to have a Spanish background would have been welcome.
- twin beds were adjoining not really twin couple of things in spa not working
- the hot tub water was tepid

Restaurant and bar in the building are large and convenient
Super ugly building
Location, window view
Breakfast was very poor
Beautiful views, great location close to the city centre.
The staff were having a party in the room next door. No one at the front desk to complain to because they were all getting drunk and slamming doors at 3am. Maybe the most unprofessional thing I’ve ever seen from a hotel.
We had already stayed here twice before, so we knew what to expect and was why we booked again. This time the hotel had a room set aside for a buffet breakfast for 6Euros each. This proved to be excellent value and a large choice of items, some homemade and thoroughly enjoyable.
Don't find any of the staff particularly friendly, even though we do speak a little Spanish. As people of a certain age, we do find it unacceptable that the restaurant doesn't open until 9.00pm and even though we ordered just after opening time, our meal didn't appear until 9.45pm, which was far too late for our taste and then wasn't particularly very nice.
Staff friendly and professional. Good restaurant. Room was very comfortable and had balcony. Recommended.
Typical continental breakfast. Fantastic pizza and salad in the adjoining restaurant when we arrived at 8.30pm
They obviously don’t have many English visitors so communication was a little difficult as we don’t speak Spanish but between us we managed
Nice hotel with good views and comfortable rooms. Friendly reception.
Balcony is a bit outdated and might needs some new furniture, food in restaurant is OK but nothing special. Have not tried the Spa.
the spa was impressive, although the music was not relaxing as it was very jolly, the sort of thing you might expect at a Jewish wedding celebration maybe. The hotel in general was ok for a one night stay, staff friendly
Breakfast, the rolls were very dry, we paid extra for scrambled eggs and bacon, which was ok. THe exterior of the buidling is very shabby (1970s?), but it was a relief to see our room was modern, comfortable and had a large terracec with nice views. There is an excellent restaurant in the town called Azucan, super friendly waitress, great food.
Staff very friendly, restaurant excellent value for money.
There was a misunderstanding with the breakfast, it was supposed to be in the room price but we got charged extra as they said eggs & bacon were extra but they never told us what the other options were! No big thing.
very friendly staffamazing view from the big terracebig room with large comfortable bed coffee machine in the room
poor breakfast
Big comfortable room, well laid out with a chair by the window, a big table and a small one, so I was able to organise my stuff easily. Nice view out to the mountain.
Wifi very poor inside the room, mostly too slow to use.
BreakfastNo eggs
Cleanliness and location.
All good but breakfast could be a little better.
