Having a large indoor pool to myself!

This hotel has so much potential as it has many facilities, but everything is very tired from both the outside and inside of the hotel. The maintenance level is appalling. Such a shame! It is also understaffed, but the staff it does have are very good.

The staff, the location, the quiteness of the hotel.

The water in the pool was too cold and the facilities old and eith mold.The toaster in the breakfast room did not work.

Directly opposite the Museu de Caramulo this comfortable and clean resort hotel has every facility, friendly and attentive staff, an excellent buffet breakfast, and represents excellent value for money.

Breakfast was good, staff very friendly and spacious room with a great view! Facilities are complete and great location.Staff is helpful and the museum just across the street.

The spa+sauna closes very early (5pm Saturday), although the pool is open until 9pm. We wanted to book massages for 6pm and that was not possible.The pool is old and not very clean/maintained.The dinner was not very good (not a lot of variety and quality of food).

It must have a wonderful view, but I arrived after sunset and it was rainy and foggy the next morning…Staff were pleasant and the room was big with a view on the valley

A little run down, but I was only there for one night, and at that price you can’t complain

The staff was really nice and friendly. The breakfast was good.

The hotel needs some maintenance. The walls are in bad shape, because of humidity. The carpet looks old and dirty. The mattress was over 20 years old: hard, uncomfortable, and the springs were really noisy. The AC seemed to be broken, at least there were some keys missing from the keypad.

I liked the location, the comfort and the staff.

Great shower, beautiful interiors if often poorly maintained, amazing location. Plenty of parking space. Very quiet environment. Large rooms and comfortable beds. Nice pool. Reasonable gym, but looking stuffy and abandoned.

Breakfast was OK but not great. Air conditioning not working in one of the rooms, had to change room. Second room was not prepared, had to change room again. In the room where air conditioning was working, it turned off twice during the night. Mouldy smell in certain areas. During check out, we had forgotten the vouchers for the swimming pool towels in the room and were made to go back to the room to get them (seriously???). The building itself has great potential and it's sad to see it in such poor state.

It is a quiet beautiful place. The stuff is superb. There is a very good gym, a clean outside pool and an equally clean internal pool. The place is old, but it hits the best expensive hotels equally.

The room was very good and clean. The gym and the pool are nice. the breakfast is very good, it had a good variety

A little old

Lovely hotel with old school charm and fantastic views. The food was excellent and plenty of choice. Good parking and very convenient for the car museum.

In general did like everything. From the warm welcome from the desk to the restaurant waitress’s all very polite and ready to help.

The aparence of the building outside could be well take care of the paint and pads!

Nice staff, beautiful view and good breakfast in terms of food literally.

Short staff on the breakfast. Only two people for a lot of guesses. We waited the whole meal for two glasses and ended up drinking from the bottle. Also, the bed and the toilet need maintenance.

View was great. Staff was very accommodating.

A bit old. The spa facilities were unavailable. No upper sheet.

Manager really helpful and all the staff. My friend had a accident and manager helped with translating to police and even took me to police station to pick up friends belongings
