Pros +
- Staff, breakfast, clean.
- Staff very friendly, efficient and professional. Entire place is spotlessly clean. Several communal areas, good sized rooms, beautiful location. Good buffet breakfast included. Lunch and dinner dining facilities available.
- Fantastic location. Very helpful staff. Immaculate and clean. I think we were the only people staying! It was very early in the season. Despite this all communal areas were open. Lovely fire on. Plentiful breakfast served directly to our table
Cons -
- Would have liked tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
- The room was very cold. But we asked for a standalone heater and one was immediately brought.
- Tv was small and superior room had nothing to shout about at 104 euros.

General hotel was good. Position inside Fort walls was excellent. We visited between Christmas and New year so hotel or Almeida wasn't very busy. Christmas lights were outstanding. Restuarnt and breakfast was good. Room was comfortable and warm. Parking was free and directly outside reception.
Tv was small and superior room had nothing to shout about at 104 euros.
