Cocobay Resort Antigua - All Inclusive - Adults Only

Pros +

• Lovely upper pool with fantastic view, but often full. Sheer Rocks restaurant was a great bonus, right there in the hotel! Cocktails nice and strong. Good to have an option of panini's if you didn't feel like going to the same restaurant three times a day. A la carte menu in the restaurant had good options, although it was a bit hit and miss. Concierge service was a great help with booking taxis etc. Coffee bar was nice with a little shop and sweet treats.
• From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, our experience at Coco Bay was nothing short of exceptional. The staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly welcomed. The food was delicious throughout our stay, and the oceanfront view from our cottage was absolutely breathtaking waking up to that view each morning was unforgettable. My wife and I had an amazing time and are already looking forward to returning. Highly recommend!

Cons -

• Almost non existent WiFi which we raised multiple times and didn't get resolved - it was blamed on the weather... When the upper pool was full (people seemed to run and reserve sunbeds by putting a towel on before breakfast...), the lower pool is a good second option other than the beach, but it had an awful smell and felt a bit dirty. Only one restaurant option, so wouldn't stay here for longer than a week. Also only one beach - I thought it would have access to both sides but no. I'd definitely hire a car if you're staying for longer than a few days as you might get cabin fever and there's not much within a walkable distance. Though not the hotels fault, the clientele was quite rowdy with big groups, often taking over areas and playing their own music which competed with the hotels music.
