Pros +
- clean room including bathroom, comfortable bed with memory foam mattress, parking place inside of the locked gate, nice garden with friendly dogs, convenient and quiet location
- The setting (a manor ) was beautiful. The breakfast was of good quality. Close to beautiful hiking tracks and a short walk to the village. Friendly owner :)
- Everything at this hotel was good. Location was stately and romantic and perfect for couples. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. We really felt we were being taken good care of.
Cons -
- The rooms are a bit dated and poorly isolated. Not an issue when we were there, but if you have noisy neighbours. The hotel is more like a bed and breakfast with fixed times when you can eat breakfast. We enjoyed the breakfast, but would be great to introduce some choices where the guests can simply help themselves (muesli, yoghurts, tea/coffee e.g. ).
- By far one of the best hotel experiences in Germany. Nothing to dislike.
