This traditional hotel is set in the peaceful town of Fermoselle, surrounded by the stunning natural landscape of the Arribes del Duero nature park, near the border with Portugal. La Posada is housed in a traditional country property dating back more than 100 years. The original atmosphere of the house has been conserved, using stone, wood and earth materials in the interior design. Visit the tranquil towns of the region and cross over the river into Portugal to explore the International Dauro Nature Reserve. The hotel is located near the city of Zamora and with reaching distance of historic and monumental Salamanca. We also have two saltwater pools for you to enjoy year-round. One for adults is 12 x 20 feet, and the other is a circular pool for children, measuring 12 cubic yards (free for guests staying at the establishments).

Fabulous hotel with a great vibe. I think the owner is Isabelle… her personality is all over the property. She is so friendly and welcoming. Everyone who works there are too. The restaurant is fantastic, and the service brilliant. The hotel is situated fairly high up with good views across the countryside. There is a 4 or 5 level terrace to sunbathe , or just get even higher for better views. It’s a 10 minute walk into town centre. The road is quiet and you can be in the car and on your way quickly to visit the miradors, valleys, hiking etc. Lots of free parking. We loved it and I’m a fussy devil. Highly recommended.
One can always quibble about something. We didn’t have a view from our window, but then we booked very late and it was the weekend.

They automatically served you a breakfast plate primarily meat and cheese I feel that they waste a lot of food for somebody who is a vegetarian they had no alternative options
Location was good with lovely views out over the countryside
Breakfast food was left out on the tables waiting for residents to arrive, not sure how hygienic that is especially with the Covid situation
