5 star prices for 2 star service, total disappointment, will not come back nor will recommend it to anyoneThe lack of service and hospitality didn’t match the location or what you would expect for a €390 per night hotel.Location is amazing but that’s it… the hotel probably had better days a long time ago, now it’s just a lifeless and careless version of a forgotten hotel chain.

On the positive side, the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The surroundings areas and the landscapes are really beautiful and peaceful. Additionally, the older gentleman in the restaurant stood out for his kindness and excellent service, which was much appreciated.

There were several aspects that left me disappointed. The rest of the staff, unfortunately, did not match the same level of attentiveness, and we had a particularly unpleasant experience at the bar, where a waiter was rude when we requested a bottle of wine just a few minutes after closing time.The facilities also fell short of expectations. The Wi-Fi was not working during our stay, and many of the common areas were uncomfortably cold, forcing us to work in our room. Additionally, we were unable to use the spa after checkout, which was disappointing. The spa itself showed signs of wear, with some pebble stones coming loose in the pools and certain controls for the water jets not functioning properly.

Everything was wonderful!, from the warm welcome and quick service by Michael and the staff, the welcome drink, the views, quiet atmosphere, pool and spa, the beautiful rooms and great breakfast. We would love to come back!

Spent a day at Valbusenda and I'm definitely going back - well-maintained and spacious spa, amazing service, gorgeous views from the rooms, and an interesting wine selection that doesn't just conform to the basics you'd expect from Toro. The tasting menu was a good experience, but somehow the understated yet polished breakfast managed to steal the show.

Breakfast was great. Diner at the restaurant was very good, Food was delicious and service was good. This is our fourth stay in the hotel and we always enjoyed.

The SPA facilities were not up to par. Some of the jets in the pools were not working and the area was in need of repairs.

Room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Spa and massage marvellous!

Rating of five star hotel the experience should be exceptional from check in to check out. Property is Understaffed! Dinner was exceptional but a group of 16 men from UK were loud and obnoxious in the dinning room. An experienced head waiter should have curved the behaviour. We as guests All paid for the experience and one guest is not more entitled to act badly to disturb the experience for the rest. I actually asked the gentlemen to be courteous and use their manners. It only helped for a short time. Outdoor pool not well maintained. Green algae overgrown on tiles with many dead bugs. So dirty not able to swim. Would also have appreciated English introduction to the amenities of the spa. Again understaffed did not anticipate guest needs.

breakfast was a nightmare and ruined the whole stay.to save money they dont have buffet during breakfast and only one person to serve. food took ages to arrive and the plates we cold, very disappointing considering the price and the installations. food at the restaurant was Ok for the price charged.

The shower glass wall is wrongly installed and after showering the bathroom is flooded.SPA should be included in the room rate. Breakfast organised in a slightly messy way - plus the cups in which the coffee was served were terrible - please change that, it’s not a hostel! :-)

the location & views were incredible.Reception and restaurant staff were very helpful and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable.The lounge/ piano bar area is stunning.Huge comfy bed!

we were not informed that the pool was closed and some spa facilities were out of order too, which is a shame. Also, €25 pp for a 60min spa access is a bit much considering the price & reduced facilities.Some hotel facilities are a bit tired and need refreshing.

The spa is original and feels relaxed, the food in the restaurant for lunch was delicious. The bed is the most comfortable I have slept in a while. Very romantic setting the outdoor pool feels luxurious too.

Not what you would expect for a 5 star hotel. In our room the wifi and phone didn’t work. We let the front desk know when we were going out and we were told it’d get fixed while we were gone. But still no wifi or phone when we got back. We didn’t mention it again but we were disappointed
