Pros +
- Very well located hotel, with authentic regional flair but with modern architecture touches. Amazing food at the restaurant. The Biergarten is great for a summer evening dinner. There are blinders in the windows, as well as a mesh against mosquitos. Very friendly and helpful staff. A practical, spacious lift. Lovely decorations all over the hotel. Hot water in the shower.
- Location was great, right at the entrance to the Alt Stadt. Everything was so clean. Breakfast was excellent, nice selection of breads and brotchen/semmel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Landhotel Gary has a wonderful restaurant, a butcher shop, and the hotel - Perfect !

Cons -
- - Tiny hairdryer, like a toy, with absolutely no power. It is of no use.- No AC in the room and it was very warm. Unfortunately, sleeping with an open window is very loud because the hotel room was directly above the street. - The breakfast's scrambled eggs looked/tasted as out of a box. - For check-ins we need to go to the restaurant/bar and wait for the right person, because the reception is not occupied most of the time.- The bathroom has no windows and the ventilation doesn't remove the humidity properly, so the whole hotel room smells as wet towels. One of the fresh towels, in the first day, already smelled bad, like it wasn't properly dried. - For me, the worst is having a small shower area with curtains that touch the person during shower and allows anyway water to splash on the bathroom floor.
- The hotel rooms are in a separate building, but it’s less than 30 meters to the registration.
- They charge 15€ for a foldable cot! I’ve been to hundreds of hotels and they have never charged me for a cheap foldable cot!!when I asked the staff the very unfriendly lady explained the charge is for cleaning the cot! The bed sheet is the size of an adult’s Shirt, sorry but if you’re paying 117€ per night the cot should be complimentary.

Cleanliness, staff, location, Breakfast
Passable
In the evenings, there was too cold water in the shower. The staff frowned, you felt guilty that you had arrived.
Nice clean room, perfect food and dinner. It was nice surprise during business trip.
Very nice place near to Old town, new furniture and very good breakfast
Room without view outside (window was in front of wall and lift)
Great value for money. View over the old town. Breakfast great, because of the attached butcheri's produce. The rooms were great. Spacious and impeccabile clean. No nasty carpet. The staff was accomododating and friendly.
The shower curtain.
I liked the location.
Straff was a little stict. i.e. I could not pay before giving my key back. An hotel cannot close one day per week as a normal restaurant.
Room was spacious and clean bed was very comfortable, bathroom was spacious and clean, wifi worked perfectly, breakfast was great!
We lost one room card key and were charged 20 EUR for it... first time I have to pay for a lost card key!
Good location, spacious rooms, delicious food for breakfast and dinner, friendly staff
NA
Location, beer garden, cleanness, personnel.
would have being great to have fridge and AC in the room. Also a bit disappointed with the breakfast
Nice location, nice beer garden and good food. large family room
very expensive, personnel not very nice, no air conditioning in the room, limited equipment in the room for the price we paid
Very clean, super nice staff, very good breakfast, beautiful town
Clean, comfortable, easy check-in and check-out, conveniently has a restaurant on site with their own butcher.
The breakfast was great, and they often freshly prepared us eggs and bacon. The cleaning and Restaurant staff were wonderful and very friendly. The room was super cute and got a lot of sunlight. I love the way it was laid out, and the bathroom was equally nice. Checking in and out was also very easy. The cleaning was decent.
The breakfast schedule was unclear and seemed to change every day, differing from the times listed online, so we missed out on quite a few meals sadly. Maybe a consequence of the pandemic? but nevertheless we felt ill informed, and were at one point told to just buy food somewhere else. Breakfast is included in the price so naturally that's frustrating to me, as I'm not getting what I'm paying for. A member came off extremely unfriendly two different times, the first when we checked in as I had to call and ask for the code to get our room key (we had not been informed at all about how check in worked, or given said code) and she was very short with me and seemed to snap at me. The second time was for showing up to eat at the wrong time (the time on the online schedule) as they had signed us up for a different time without telling us. That made me feel very uncomfortable and attacked. However my partner doesn't speak the language very well so I'm sure their communications with him contributed to any misunderstandings. As for cleaning, we were mostly satisfied, except for the blankets being a bit dirty at times. I had a nice time overall, but I honestly wouldn't recommend it for younger folks, especially if you're foreign. I felt that that contributed to our treatment.
