The breakfast was adequate. The room was clean.

Not as expected! The room looked nothing like the website; there was old carpeting, no view, no balcony. The pictured room that we expected: we were told there was one available (but we had friends in other room). The location was terrible; no view. It was not as portrayed.

Exception service. Great breakfast. Good launching place for exploring region.

Not much to do within walking distance

Breakfast was good. The bus/train passes made up for not having a/c:) We thought the hotel was a good value.

No a/c so had to open window and there was some traffic noise.

Very clean comfortable room. Quiet. Excellent transport links to centre of St Gallen. the hotel gives you a travel pass for the area.

Can't think of anything. Perhaps some out of ours contact with the hotel - being breakfas only, no staff on site in the evening.

I liked the staff and the room. The trolley bus into St Gallen was good, especially as I got a tourist pass. Great.

Excellent location – at least for my (business) purpose. Tastefully refurbished room, very friendly front desk! Some restaurants nearby to have dinner.

The bathroom floor tiles were extremely cold; either no floor heating – a shame for such a tastefully refurbished room – or floor heating was turned off.

The hotel is bed and breakfast only but it is central to an Italian restaurant, pizzeria and a kebabery. The local migros supermarket is a short walk away. A bus to St Gallen town can be taken every 15 minutes, one of which you can pay the driver (no 200) which is what you want when you have just arrived. The room was great, not big but adequate for a short stay. The bathroom was good with a perfect shower. I like the continental breakfast and it did not disappoint. We would stay here again. Lastly the hotel owner was was extremely friendly and welcoming.

Hotel did not have a bar but it was bed and breakfast only so accept that. There is a coffee making facility but one day it wasn’t refreshed. Can’t really fault this b&b.

Convenient place to stay. The rooms have everything you might need (including a tiny kitchen) and there are plenty of stores around. The WiFi is sufficiently fast, so that shouldn't be an issue. You also have a complementary breakfast and should include something for everyone.

It is a bit far from the city, but there are sufficient means of public transport during the day.

,We stayed in a room in the main building. Rooms are very clean and with a lot of light. Window also in bathroom. There is a kettle, tea, coffee and water. Mattresses were comfortable. Reading light, TV. Small room but according to description and our needs. Open hanger and body mirror and also a closed closet. There was a far available. In the toilet, big shower with liquid soap from a flash which I find it good in order to avoid plastic and waste. Breakfast was very good with eggs, meat, cheese, yogurt, cereals, fruit, fresh bread and hot drinks. At the arrival we were offered a drink, including coffee, and at the checking out we were offered chocolate. Staff was very friendly, attentive and helpful. There is free parking places and the direct bus to St Gallen is 2 minutes walk.

Extreme hot temperatures made the room a bit hot. It was much better with opened windows but we got some noise from cars. Also the fan was there, but we didn't want to use it. This is just exceptional and I do not consider a fault of hotel in Switzerland.

It is a great small and very affordable hotel in a place few km from St. Gallen. Both the train and bus stations are nearby and they lead to city center and lake

Quiet hotel with lovely service. It suited my requirements and was very clean & well kept. Location was central and easy enough to find. Parking on site was a benefit. Tea / Coffee making facilities in the room were adequate.

The hotel staff very kind and helpfull.I think the location is perfect, as the Hotel is in between the Bodensee and St. Gallen. Practically St, Gallen is reachable on foot as well. The room is very comfortable. I would come back to this Hotel.

The staff were first class and the breakfasts were delicious.
