Nice cosy room for 4 people or a couple with kids. The place is very nice even in winter and I believe it will be even better for spring-summer vacations with many activities. Groningen is only 20 minutes away by car and 30 by train (I think) for anyone who would like to combine vacations in nature and a stroll in the city.

We had a 4-bed room under the roof. The beds are in alcoves and these tend to become really warm. with only windows on one side it's very difficult to cool down. A fan in the room could be helpful.

Location is ok, just a few minutes stroll to the Winsum coty center, around is kinda vacation park, with restaurant and even rent-a-boat. Quiet in the night.
Bathroom tiles needs renovation or at least cleaning. Room on the first floor looks to the entrance, so no privacy with open curtains.
