Everything was ok, nice clean, breakfast was perfect!

The electric plug wasn't working on the bathroom side but we managed to charge our phone the other plug.

It was in a good location just off the motorway. It had a good restaurant, the room was clean and warm. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

Our 2nd time in Landgasthof Penn. Overnighted with 2 kids. Clean rooms, good beds, excellent breakfast, and available parking for free. Friendly English-speaking staff.

Nice and cozy pension. Close enough to the motorway to make a stop and far enough to have a rest without disturbance. The building is nice with a lot of wood. The rooms can be accessed outside of the reception hours as well with the key locker. The breakfast was delicious.

We planned to have a dinner at the restaurant, but because of a national Holiday it was closed, which was surprising. You need some basic German understanding to get all the info.

Nice breakfast. Good selection. Also ate dinner at the restaurant one night and the food was delicious and a very good value. The location was a good stopping off point to get to several other cities.

The rooms are quite "dated". The linens need updating. The bathroom is very small and also needs some updating.

I recently stayed at a lovely pension for New Year's, and I can't recommend it enough! The couple who runs the place were incredibly welcoming and attentive. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, making for a perfect stay. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, which added to the overall experience. If you're looking for a clean and charming place to relax, this pension is definitely the way to go!

Not typical as other hotels nowadays

Brocken lights in the bathroom. It was also a bit cold in the room. You feel like everything is very old but for one night or two it’s okay to stay.

The breakfast was good,a selection of nice meats ,cheeses ,jams etc.The hotel was nicely situated in a lovely German village.

Such a nice place, wooden house with a lot of Bavarian elements. Very friendly staff.

Amazing food and really kind staff. We had cycled here on a long route and were given water as soon as we arrived and somewhere to lock our bikes.

The room worn balcony was OK but it meant others next door were on their balcony till late at night and were talking too loudly. We needed to sleep but couldn't until they went indoors.

Convenient location close to the motorway but noisy street.

The bad attitude of the lady from the reception. When we left it the morning she yelled at us and accused us that we were leaving without paying in front of other guests. It's a lack of respect and professionalism to not know which of your guests pays thru Booking.com and which needs to pay cash! Do your homework next time before accusing someone.

Location, breakfast

Hotel to old, rooms where given far away separate from my children, duvet and pillow where smelling cigarette, no shampoo or body wash in the bathroom at all, no refrigerator, no bottle of water, coffee or tea for the guests in the rooms, windows has little privacy, tv too small for that room, no air con or fan, etc.

Great location , every detail is designed. Breakfast was really delicious.

No air-conditioning. And of july, was to warm on the bedroom.

Very clean and comfortable. Bed was the best I've slept in! Excellent shower and good to have a balcony and beer cooler too. Staff so helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was fantastic. Location was 5 mins from motorway en route to Hungary from Calais. Will definitely stay again!

The location is excellent. Close to the motorway, yet very quiet. The breakfast was great as well. Everything was really tasty

We had some communication issues as we didn't speak much German and the staff didn't speak much English. This led to a very stressful misunderstanding where I was told there was no room for us as they are completely booked. We eventually got it sorted but I found the experience very problematic.

The breakfast was excellent also the breakfast room and the dinner in the evening at the terrace.

Our room was at the street side and when you are sleeping with an open window there is a lot of noise from traffic. It begins already early in the morning.
