Motel Acropolis

Very clean & comfortable.

Access to room was limited as you were locked in your room & had to call reception to let you out via a downstairs garage door, felt like you were captive.

This motel, it truly is a motel. They even have a rate by the hour, had a mirror above bed and the allow smoking i n room. Not what we expected.They don't offer restaurant services but menu for drinks and cava.

The service from the staff was nothing short of great, from check-in to check out. I wish I have gotten the name of the staff to thank them. The room was clean and a decent size. It is near the Camino de Santiago and only hotel option nearby.

This hotel gave me a total different experience from any other hotel or hostel I stayed on the Camino de Santiago. Having to request access to exit the room is just plain weird. The motel doesn't provide an opporturity interact with other pilgrims as the rooms are very private. The only choice for a full meal is the gas station next door. If you want to connect with other pilgrims, my advise is to find a place to stay a little beyond or before this area. Also, while the motel supposeoly an emphasis in privacy I could hear the people from other rooms going in and out of their rooms.

It was clean and quiet.

It was garage accessed and we are Camino pilgrims without a car. There is no lobby or central area for use by guests.

Too far from restaraunts and town amenities. Directions were hard to understand and to get to when walking the Camino

Room was very comfortable and extremely clean.

It was really quite a strange experience. I mean the setup was most unusual. Only entrance was thru a garage door ( I had no car ) that I had to be remotely buzzed both into, and when I wanted to leave I had to call to be buzzed out also. Location was not convenient for someone traveling without a car. Only one option for eating anywhere nearby the place. A truck stop diner next door. I would advise anyone walking the Camino de Santiago against staying here.

A bit of a walk from the main town- service station close by but miserable staff who don’t know how to smile!!

The room was quiet.

This accommodation is very different from what I expected. No interaction with reception, met by housekeeper that let us in. Access is only through a garage door you need to call to have opened. Located a bit off the Camino so not a best choice for Peregrinos. The truck stop nearby did have good food.

They lock you in at night unless you call them to open the doors. I found it very scary and I also find it difficult to believe that that would be allowed under Spanish fire codes? The rooms have a garage on the ground level and some stairs that go up to the room. There is a locked door at the top of the stairs for the staff, and you enter and exit through the garage door. You have to call them to open this garage door. I asked them to leave the garage door open the whole night, but when I woke up in the morning it had been closed and I was affectively trapped in my room until I called them to open it up again. I suppose this is a security feature, but it seems insane to me.

this was a no tell motel. so if you do not want to hook up this is not your place.

Clean and well provisioned accommodation. Excellent value.

No food option other than a gas station nearby.

Clean, comfortable, and quiet room. Great bathroom. Helpful staff. Pets are welcome. Even if they do not have a restaurant, there is one really near that have a lot of options for breakfast.

You cannot open the parking door on your own (except for an emergency case), and that's the only way out of your room. Upon request, the property will open it without delay, but it feels weird. I guess it is good for privacy, which is vital for this type of accommodation.
