Pros +
- Central location
- All good
- It provides, for a relatively modes sum, the full experience of travelling inside Eastern Europe during Soviet times. Consider it more of a full immersion living gulag museum, than a budget hotel. Everything, from the aneamic shower, to the harsh lighting, the level of surveillance, and the incredible removal of anything that might be considered as a comfort feature, shows a level of attention to detail that is admirable.
Cons -
- Self Check-in didn’t work 1st try. Had to call someone for assistance.
- 1. No staff basically, the check-in tablet was not accepting the reservation number. I was calling the property but no one was picking up the line that had made me worried, later after many minutes call center staff picked up my line and she did check-in remotely. Imagine if no one picks up the line then it is scary, specially if it night or holidays. 2. As car parking was included in my stay, there is a form stamped by the hotel which client needs to fill up and place on the dashboard which should be clearly visible from outside, though I had done it but I got the parking fine. The parking fine ticket was dumped deep inside under the wipers, which was not at all visible, I drove 400 kilometers. The next day while cleaning the car, I noticed something is dumped and it was a bad surprise then. I don't know if hotel will help me to cancel the fine or not, I know it is going to be challenging in the absence of hotel staff but let's see
- That it continues to live in denial of its true purpose. Its design, identity and destiny is to become an incarceration facility for mid level offenders. Continuing to market itself as a hotel is just inauthentic

The rooms were basic but comfortable for my work trip. The breakfast cafe shared by the hotel and the staff in there were excellent. Had a room for ironing boards irons spare plugs to your appliances could be used . Good central location
Lack of visible staff
The self check-in system is modern and practical, the place is centrally located and very clean
Superb breakfast in local cofe shop.
Worse furniture no AC, but good bang for a buck
close to public transport. kept very clean. everything automated.
no HVAC in summer. the bells the bells the bells
Breakfast is super nice. Hotel cooperates with a bakery and breakfasts are organised by it. Tasty bread and food
Cockroaches!!!! Super old EVERYTHING - furniture, beds, utilities, walls, building
clean, family room is very convenient (comfortable beds, separate bathrooms, breakfast buffet was amazing, self check in Kees it flexible, charging station for the car
The suite had 2 bathrooms. The door between the rooms is well soundproofed. The breakfast.
I received the information in german and the self check-in was available jus in german. A hotel is for non-local people especially!!The sofa is ok but needs a topper. The bathrooms needs a good ventilator. The frigde was not plugged in and it's hard to plug in.
Parking was plentiful.
Very dated. Reception area is very poorly lit. Breakfast selection was very limited.
The location was excellent. Close to the station and amenities. The facilities were good, there was an attached coffee shop which provided an excellent breakfast. The beds were ok. Smaller than I am used to, but comfy enough and the duvet/pillow were very good. The hotel was exceptionally clean and the staff were very friendly and spoke good English.
The downside to the excellent location was the proximity of the main bell tower, which chimed loudly and continuously at 6am!The free wifi unfortunately required a mobile phone number to get onto, and it wouldn't recognise my UK mobile phone number an therefore I couldn't use it. I'm sure there was a workaround, but as I had full 4G reception I didn't bother. There is no attached restaurant, but very good ones nearby.
Clean and efficient, nice staff and having the breakfast in the cafe was actually very nice idea.
No kettle or drink making facilities in the room.
Very good
Self chek in
The size of the room, the quality of cleanliness.
Easy check in
Outdated and ugly
Very good
To make self chrcking was little difficult
The Checkin goes easy fast
Good
Wifi connection is too complicated, and there is no password that can be used directly.
Thank you for making the reservation booking easy and for allowing cancellations, just in case something g changed. The room and hotel were very nice and my day was very pleasurable.
