Comfortable room in interesting village with intriguing church and good walking through orchards. Very helpful owners - thank you. No evening meals, but good choice restaurants nearby.

Beautiful, clean, comfortable, and with friendly owners, my sister and I enjoyed our stay very much. The location was great! We could walk to the grocery store, pharmacy, restaurants, and much more. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The total price is to high!Sorry,it's to expensive for an little hotel , near the village street! Okay, the voted things before are sure so , but it's not okay to declarate and want 100 ! Euro, for one night in this category!! This is maybe a reason to rent and go there, not another time!!

When we arrived at about 21.00 in the rain after travelling for about 8hours from Calais France the place was deserted. We asked some people who lived opposite why the place was closed and we were told that it has been closed for some time. We asked why but they didn't know why. We have booked to stay on the 4th of August through Booking.com and on our return journey the 12th of August. It was closed again. I thank God that some helpful person directed us to another hotel. The owner of the hotel we managed to secure a room was surprised that we were able to book a room at Engelhof because he said also that it has been closed. I personally think that this is a scam because they charged my credit card 90eu. I complained to Booking.com about this but somehow they are not able to refund me the 90eu. The so called Engelhof hotel owner is refusing to pay back the 90eu which charged us fraudulentlyI am writing this review so that nobody else falls into the same trap as we did.Davina-Essex UK

Very friendly staff with personal welcome, kind and helpful to answer my questions.

My wife and I drove for almost 9 hours and and to our horror the place was shut. We panicked a bit as it was late in the evening. I knocked at the apartment opposite for information and was told that perhaps they were closed for holidays.I drove around in the village looking for alternative accommodation and thank God we found a place for the night otherwise I don't know what we could have done. I wonder if this place is a scam and you should take it off your listings so nobody else experience what we did.

We like the fact that it is located very much in the centre of the town and it was very easy to park. The staff is very friendly and very reactive.we also liked that they made an effort to have local products for breakfast, not the usual internacional nonsnse type of brakfast.Very good experience, very nice region.
