Hotel Vicinity

Very clean rooms. Comfortable beds. We loved the nature and the quietness.

Nothing major. Location - You need to take a bus to go to the nearest town.

cleanliness and proximity to campus. let us leave our luggage earlier than check in. very quiet. nice bathroom and shower.

beds were a little hard, it would be nice if they had a mattress pad for side sleepers. no lights outside at night. it was dark at night until it detected you were in the hallways.

Lovely and clean with a room big enough for us for a few days. Breakfast was good with enough choice. We have paid double this amount for a less desirable room. Very happy.

A little clearer as to where the breakfast room is.

The hotel is simple, but offers good accommodation. The area is quiet and close to the town centre. It also offers a kitchen for those who choose to make their own food. It is a good price for what they offer. The rooms are exceptionally clean. I would sleep there again at any time. I also enjoyed that we had a balcony and the opportunity to smell the fresh grass in the morning while having a coffee.

The mattress was soft like butter, but I also know that they do have hard mattresses available, as the other room I visited had a comfortable mattress.

ok stay

Breakfast is a 5-7minutes walk outside to the university cafeteria. When raining/stormy weather it can be unpleasant.

Convenient hotel. Late check in was easy.

If you request an extra bed be clear abt what type of bed you want. I requested an extra bed for my 6yo and we found a pack and play in the room. Our child didnt fit and the reception was already closed. We put the matress on the floor, but it was very inconvenient. (And our child is relatively small for their age!)

The room was spacious and clean

The parking spots in front of the hotel was often full, so you had to park a bit further away.

The hotel is based on / part of the University of Birkenfeld, it is fairly basic, clean and functional. Good value price wise, and ideal for a one night stay in a quiet location. On site restaurant for breakfast and / or lunch. Free car parking.

A ten minute walk to the dining block for breakfast. The restaurant is not open during the evening with few alternatives due to the location. Birkenfeld is the nearest town (6 kms). The local village has two pizza / kebab restaurants. The Antalya Grill was my preferred choice - the guy made me a nice pizza.

Great comfortable room and bed. Small kitchen in the hotel with coffee machine. Safe bike storage and easy self check in if you arrive after 6. Quiet location..

Nearest restaurant is about 1.5km away. Not great sound isolation from other rooms. Wifi not working.

Fantastic commnication, very easy and fast, we had a late check in and we booked only a couple of hours before arrival, everything was excellent. Table with information, available bottles of water and glasses, clean and nice bathroom. We were stopping here as a convenient stop of our route to Austria. Very quiet area, no noise at all. Available parking with plenty of space. Price is very reasonable.

Nothing to add, everything was good.

Not Applicable

unfortunately some of guests were smoking in the entry level despite clear NO SMOKING sign.

Very good checking & friendly staff. Clean room.

Room not available on ground floor but was told it was due to renovations.

Too expensive

Too expensive for what is offered. Facilities are functional, nothing more. No breakfast in the building, so you have to walk to the cafeteria.

Location of the hotel as near train station. Friendly staff & storage space in the room.

Disliked · If it had air conditioning, fridge & shower mat in the shower. We would have preferred a double bed mattress instead of two single ones & a double duvet

Location was near the train station. Staff were friendly. Room had storage space.

Perfekt bicycle shed!

Double price for breakfast for a single person in double room.

Good location for those who have business and appointments at the Umweltcampus

The double rooms have the same size as the single rooms, and thus with the larger bed there is hardly space in the room (and "balcony" in the room description is an exaggerated name for the 1 m wide wooden walkway).Breakfast in the university canteen of the and alamost everything is served in plastic one-spoon mini-packaging. Waste reduction seems to be a foreign concept and there is no environmental awareness on the environmental ("Umwelt") campus! One loses one's appetite for breakfast.

Every member of the staff was friendly and accommodating. The facilities are perfect for no-frills travel and are pet friendly. The room was clean and very comfortable.

Very beautiful area.

Great, within the campus. Clean and tidy
