    Pros +

    • Wonderful hotel! Excellent spa! Rich breakfast. Friendly staff. Very good lake view. Very comfortable beddings.
    • The Spa facilities were great and everything is really clean. The facilities are connected to the hotel via a tunnel, so no need to go via the outside. The food is good as well.
    • Really nice modern and stylish hotel in a beautiful nature surrounding. It takes 1,5 hours to get there from Amsterdam, but the hotel truly worth it.

    Cons -

    • Inspite of a really nice stay in the hotel, we had an awful experience in Spa. There was a Good Night session at 21:30, people were walking in, I was looking for my towel, but then the Sauna worker closed the door right in front of my face. I opened the door trying to walk in, but she kicked me out and said, we are too late. She did not even start anything and she was extremely rude (End of discussion, she said). Very unpleasant experience, which ruined the whole stay.
    • We checked in but our room wasn’t ready when we checked in later we got a handicap room. We were surprised since we aren’t handicap and didn’t book that room. My husband is 6’5 and trying to use the sink etc wasn’t possible because it was so low, so at least we could do that at the spa. The soap dispenser didn’t work or the phone which we thought being a handicap room would be important for someone in a wheel chair. We luckily had our own soap and was close to the desk being on the main floor to let them know the phone wasn’t working. But the spa was amazing and we will be back.
    • It was packed with people, which made it feel a bit crowded. Sometimes, you needed to wait in line to get into the saunas because of the amount of people there.

The location and facilities were superb!!!So many options to enjoy.

Everything was wonderful - room, breakfast, spa facilities

    9GregPosted on: 11-17-2023

The room was very modern and quite large, exceptionally clean bathroom and toilet and an amazing view of the lake (Lake view room), there was a well stocked mini bar (rare in these post Covid times) and a Nespresso coffee machine, and a super comfy king size bed.... what more could you want.

My wife and I only speak English (Australian) and on the Wellness side of the facility there is absolutely no English in any of the signage or menus. Just makes it a little difficult to take advantage of all of the services when you don't know what they are. (You cannot have your phone in the wellness areas, even for translation purposes).

The spa was amazing. I think that it's the most beautiful spa in the Netherlands. Breakfast was very good with a lot of choice. Dinner was super!

It would be nice to have more swimwear days available in one month.

The room was quite newly renovated and bed was comfortable. Mainly went there for the sauna experience and the hardware / deco was quite good.

I understand that for day guests of the sauna and spa centre there are more charges, but for hotel guests, considering that we are paying 300 EUR plus for 1 night - the room is the bare minimum and not what I would consider fit for such a price. There is no bathrobe in the room (something you get per default in rooms that costs way less) and then you need to rent it for 12,50 EUR per person at the reception if you wish to take one to the sauna? Driving all the way from Germany, do they really expect guests that come over to stay overnight also to bring this themselves? Also even in Netherlands where there is tap water available, most hotels at least provide 2 bottles free per stay, but here everything is an extra charge and one small bottle costs 3.75 EUR. Again, not something you would expect considering the room night cost. They should really reconsider how to offer hotel guests a better experience and include such things in room price.

    Spa, Sauna, Baths, Peaceful

The food is average, and the buffet closes a bit early imo.

Cannot wait to return there! Excellent food, that entire spa, sauna, pool, lake area is out of this world! Amazing.

The room was beautiful, big, clean and had lovely balcony with lake view. The bed was big and comfortable. We also really appreciated the Nespresso machine. The breakfast was very tasty, many different options also for vegetarians. The spa has many different saunas, pools and we absolutely loved the Cenote pool!!Staff was very professional and and helpful. The service they provided in the spa and restaurants was exceptional!I would highly recommend to visit this place for every "spa lover". We will definitely come back. Thank you for amazing experience and keep up great work:-)

    - The spa

    - The lunch/dinner restaurants at the spa- Bathrobe and slippers were paid, even for hotel guests

    9NicolePosted on: 6-19-2022

The spa is incredible, so many nice places to relax and amazing saunas as well. Would gladly return and spend another night in a very relaxing hotel. Breakfast was great

Having to pay so much for a bath robe and towels... ridiculous. Plus reserving for a breakfast table, queuing to join one of the rituals at the spa, food was expensive for what you got.. the hotel would do even better if they made sure guests can just enjoy their time without having to think ahead of silly things such as reserving tables

    5ReinaPosted on: 5-1-2022

The rooms are comfortable and luxurious, although for the money you pay we expected a bit extra.

Check-in staff seemed very stressed out and not welcoming.

    9ErniePosted on: 7-27-2021

The room was very good, the spa was superb and the breakfast was excellent

The slippers should be included in the price

    9KarolinePosted on: 4-6-2021

We had a great time at this property. Even with the saunas closed due to the Corona measures we could enjoy the pool, hot tubes, and other facilities. Also the restaurant is really nice. Very relaxing weekend!
