lovely hotel in a wonderful location.

But it's a shame that costs are calculated that were not previously transparent. Simply falling asleep after a 12 hour drive and not showing up for dinner will cost you 30 euros. Very unfortunate.

Everything about this hotel is awesome. The rooms, the shower, the reception, the food. The swimming pool is amazing. We will revisit this hotel every time we are in France. It is worth a detour from just choosing a budget hotel because you are travelling. This hotel is an experience.

We liked everything. The position in the middle of a beautiful garden. The silence.....the intimacy, the terrace of the room...the comfort of the bed, the kindness of the staff, the room facilities and last but not least, the attention to small details that make the difference!​Congratulations!

Suggestion: Lighting at night outside! Practically there are only a few in front of the main building! More solar projectors could be put from place to place in the garden!

The rooms were clean and comfortable

The hotel sets itself up as something special but it is not. In the restaurant we waited 30minutes to give our order and then an hour wait for the first course. By 10 o’clock we gave up waiting for our pudding and the wine we ordered never arrived at all. We decided not to take breakfast

Great setting on beautiful grounds.Rooms are very well situated with a lot of privacy.

Spa facilities are not in the same location but a drive away. Wasn't clear when booking.

The room was immaculate and a lovely location overlooking a fabulous pool. We really enjoyed the grounds with our dog and found the room to be very well appointment and comfortable.

We were grateful that we could bring our dog, but we felt the EUR20 charge for her one night stay a little steep given nothing was provided for her (bed, bowl etc). We avoided breakfast as again we felt the EUR25 per person was expensive.

staff didn’t help to carry luggage in from car - quite a distance to roomswimming pool was closed off at nightand we were not able to have a nightcap.

Location was beautiful. The room very clean and comfortable.

Extremely comfortable bed; spacious room; excellent shower; beautiful grounds. Painless unsecured wifi - no messing with access codes. Breakfast was good, tho' croissants & pain au choc were a bit plasticky. TV had BBC1 & BBC2 though strangely, not BBC News.

Dinner was slightly disappointing. Dining room was cold (3 sides of glass, winter evening, only 4 tables occupied). Food wasn't that hot either. Main course badly needed some vegetables. Coffee was lukewarm. Bedroom in annexe, 100m walk from dining room, would have been unpleasant if raining.I suspect some of our minor criticisms arise from the out-of-season timing. Only 2 or 3 rooms occupied? It all felt a bit "cold" metaphorically as well as literally (tho' our room was warm enough).
