Lovely setting, quiet and comfortable large room. We enjoyed our stay here. Staff was great.

Gastronomy, pleasant ambience and attentive staff. Meeting Georges Blanc at dinner and again at breakfast symbolised attention to customer service.

Pretty village setting

Difficult to park, very busy.

The room was clean and neat, in good condition. It was cleverly designed to get light into the bathroom through a glassed wall.The staff was friendly and helpful at reception (in hte other hotel - we didn't see any staff on the Les Saules side).

This is just terrible value for money. 260EUR per night is 100EUR too much for the size of the room & facilities and the location. This is a price for a 4 star in the centre of a town like Lyon, not in a village in the middle of nowhere.Clearly, the prices are set for George Blanc's reputation (and the same comment applies for the restaurant). There isn't much really bad to say, just that the price is not set for what is offered, but at a wild premium. The pool / spa access is charged at 20EUR per guess per day on top of the room price. There was no coffee machine in our room the first day (but one was added on day 2 when the room was done). Again, at that price, the room should be ready from the start, without any omissions.

We were only there because we couldn’t find another place to stay late at night. It was clean and comfortable, staff was pleasant

It was kind of a strange resorty place. Breakfast was pretty expensive as I recall, but we had a nice breakfast out in the community during our morning walk.

Quiet, clean and nice firm beds.

It’s an unusual concept, set up years ago as a gastronomic village - a bit of a throwback to the French rural ideal of forty years ago.

Almost any activity come as an extra which is added to the bill, although I suppose that keeps the cost down if you only want the basics.

Large, nicely decorated rooms with very comfortable,king size bed. Equipped with all necessary bathroom accessories, free WiFi, mini bar. Well located, 1' waking distance from auberge george blanc. Free parking place in front of the hôtel. A little bit crowded. Professional front office staff, always ready to help. We will definitely come back.

We spend 1 night in "Les Saules Parc & Spa". Large room with real king size, confortable bed. Great location,just in front of restaurant l'Ancienne Auberge.
