We booked 2 rooms , one room was very nice and the other one not the same and small

The room was cold and the central was shut down before midnight. Everything in the room was very old. We went to dinner and when we got back at 00:30 the doors of the hotel were all locked and there was no one at the reception. No one told us that the doors will be locked at night when we checked in. We found a door at the backyard but to open the door we needed to have a key card but our room was an old one and we had a normal key. We called our friends who were staying at the same hotel and they had a key card for their room. They came from the city and we were able to open the door and enter the hotel.

Very good location. Plenty of place to go for walk with dogs. Very kind and helpful stuff. That balcony… wow! Spatial room. Cleanliness. Tasty breakfast. We didn't make it in time for dinner..

The room was wonderful. We really loved that there was a balcony, and it was a large room for us because our dog travelled with us. We paid extra for breakfast, it was affordable and superb. We really liked the location because it was halfway our journey to the Mediterranean coast. Furthermore, it was near nature which makes it a tranquil location, our dog specifically loved that. The staff was super accommodating and friendly. Overall, the hotel was down to earth, family owned, with a human touch.

That we only stayed one night. I wish we tried to stay a little longer. I was a bit confuse about the self-checkin and how it works. We didn't need to because we arrived before the desk closed.

Beautiful and calm setting with sophisticated ski chalet type feel to the rooms that all overlook a lake nature reserve, walking distance to Breisach Am Rhein.

We had to enter France first because of the visa situation of the other family we were traveling with. We chose this place because of its proximity to Europa Park, Freiburg, Colmar, Mulhouse and the airport. It is very close to the border. It is easy to get anywhere by car. The view from the balcony was very nice. Room size was perfect.

There was a language problem, since it was a local accommodation, very few people spoke English and those who did were not very good. Breakfast was not great for us but it would be good for locals and other nationalities. The restaurant was nice but nothing suitable for children and there was no English menu. At least they could prepare one or two English menus for those who do not speak French.

Foods are really tasty, especially dinner is good, they have free otopark and electric station.

The employees do not know English at all, I think a hotel of this capacity and location should have employees who know English, and there is also a very serious food smell in some parts of the hotel. Finally, when you want to leave the hotel at night, only 1 door opens and there is no receptionist, there is a photocell lamp when you exit the opened door but it does not work and walking in the dark in the forest can be scary. But these are all very minor things, if I go to that area again, I would stay at that hotel again.

Little touches missing, like no information in the room about services offered, menu or even the location.

Beautiful placeLovely rooms overlooking lake with lots of wildlife. We cycled there and the area around the hotel has lots of opportunities to cycle along various Rhine routes on both sides of the French/German border.

We recently stayed overnight at [Hotel Name] while traveling with our kids, and overall, it was a cozy experience. The room was tidy and comfortable, providing a welcoming atmosphere for our family. The view in the morning from the balcony was absolutely stunning, allowing us to relax and enjoy the scenery.The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.Breakfast, while good, mainly featured pork options. We were not informed prior to arrival about the need to communicate dietary preferences in advance, as we booked our stay on short notice. It would be helpful for future guests for the hotel to mention this during the booking process, especially for those with specific dietary requirements.Overall, it was a pleasant experience

The weather was very hot during our stay, and unfortunately, the hotel did not have air conditioning. To cool off, we left the balcony door open for fresh air, but this resulted in a restless night. The lights outside with motion sensors turned on with the movement of cars, people, or animals, which is why we could not sleep.The light from outside illuminated our room continuously, making it difficult to sleep. We tried using the sunscreen to block out the light, but it made the room even warmer.In the early morning, we tried to enjoy the beautiful view of the river, but guests from the neighboring balcony started to smoke and talk aloud. We tried to close the door, which made room again warmer. ??

Nice staff, great location, beautiful hotel

Air conditioning was not working, they didn’t fix it for days. Also no elevators

Beautiful location, the room was clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was fine with good coffee and bread ,homemade confiture, cheese and fresh fruits. Children are for free. The room has a balcony with a stunning view over the lake!

The only negative thing we experienced is that people are smoking in the balconies. We slept with the window open, - which is necessary because there is no internal ventilation, you smell the smoke inside the room.

Very quiet with amazing views. Good restaurant. All in all a lovely stay with the family and our dog. Good walks for the dog at the property (although a lack of bins)
