    Pros +

    • I love Karolina Hotel, been there 2 times before and that was our third time. The location is great, close to Nessebar, close to the beach.
    • The food was great! The Turkish chef is a special person! one of the evenings there was no more white wine at the bar, I praised the cooked food and told him it was a shame that those who manage the hotel did not rise to his level... He asked me what was bothering me, I told him that I used to drink white wine in the evening, but unfortunately it's not anymore... He left muttering something in Turkish and came to our table with white wine... A special man!
    • Rooms and service was very good

    Cons -

    • The food offered during our stay was quite appalling. Most of the dishes would not have a label to explain what is it. It really felt that budget for the kitchen was cut dramatically. The food offered was pretty much same, apart from a few main ones. There was an effort put into presenting it, but I would have expected more from a 4 star hotel. That really put me off ….
    • In the evening, when everyone is at the bar (a huge bar with four sides), the one serving (not a bartender anyway) is only one person while twenty people are waiting. The administrator must be fired!
    • The food could be better, and the coffee was just nescafe instant coffee

I had a general good feeling about our stay.- Our room was very spacious, everything was quite clean and we received clean towels every single day.- There are a lot of shops and 24/7 open markets at the base of the complex- The beach is very close by foot.- The staff was friendly and helpful. They are really hard working and doing their best to make your stay confortable. The parking was quite full, but the guy from the reception went out of his way to make space for my car as well. Also, had a small technical issue in our room regarding the water, but was fixed very fast. So this was a huge plus.- Food was good, varied and plentyful- Included drinks were varied as well but the quality was mediocre or low.

    - Parking was a huge pain. One would think that a four star hotel would provide free parking for their guests who payed a lot of money to stay there. I understand that spaces are limited, so that's not the issue. If the parking lot is full, you just need to find another place, that's ok. But once you get a place to park in the parking lot, which is the Hotel's property, I can't really accept the fact that you have to pay for it. I had the feeling that I was ripped-off.- Bar closed around 23:00 - I do understand that this is necessary to ensure that guests can rest, but one should be aware that you can't get anything to drink if you would like to stay up late.- The rooms need some renovation (wallpapers peeling off, rust in some places, lose elements, some lights not working).- I was missing the fruit outside meal-times. Not a big issue, just mentioning it.- The bar ran out of beer.- The water in the pool is very cold. This is neither good, neithr bad, just something that has to be taken into consideration.

Rooms were clean and maintenance was done by staff every day. Food was very good and diverse. Couldn't ask more from a 4 star facility. Exchange, market, pharmacy 50m from the door.

More hot milk in the morning for kids

The food was nice, except for the breakfast, which was boring and repetitive. The cakes were also nice, however for the last 4-5 days of stay the cakes were very limited and they were not nice at all (mostly jam/jelly based). I did not like the scheduled all inclusive, because we were forced to attend the designated times, and there was no flexibility (e.g., eat when you want). However, we have stayed overtime and sometimes over 30-40 mins and there were no issues. Other than that there was a daily cleaning service.

The place is not very good for families with small kids. The pools are too deep, the water is very very cold, and the slides are quite dangerous (the design is terrible, you can easily cut your foot).

I recently stayed at Karolina Hotel, expecting a 4-star experience based on its ratings and positive reviews. However, my stay turned out to be far from what I anticipated.-The primary issue was with the promised free parking. Despite the clear mention of complimentary parking on the booking site, I was unexpectedly charged 15 leva per day upon arrival. This contradictory approach left a sour taste in my overall experience.-Another letdown was the fitness center. Prior to booking, I carefully read that sports facilities, including the gym, were available to guests at no extra cost. Nevertheless, I discovered upon arrival that there was a sudden additional fee of 10 leva per day to access the gym. This unexpected policy change added stress and disappointment to my vacation.-My dissatisfaction didn't end there. When I went to the reception to receive the gym key (which I had to pay for), the receptionist couldn't find the key. This lack of professionalism is unacceptable for a supposed 4-star hotel. In conclusion, my experience at Karolina Hotel was deeply unsatisfying. The initial promises of free parking and gym access proved to be false, and the handling of these matters fell far short of the standards one would expect from a 4-star hotel. For these reasons, I cannot recommend this hotel to fellow travelers, and I will be exploring alternatives for my future trips.

-Nice pool, close to beach. The food was very good, we had all Inclusive and the variations from day to day was good.-Smiling and attentive waiters and receptionists-We had a problem with hot water in our room and was upgraded to a nicer room as a result.

-To long waiting for service in the bar. -I disliked the fact that drinks/coffee/beer was surved in small plastic cups….. While paying client was served their drinks in normal glasses. I had All Inclusive but still had payed my share for these drinks already. This is the first hotel I stayed in with All Inclusive that this has happened.-No bottles of water in the hotel room. I asked reception why, and the explenation I got was this: «The hotel own the store in the building, and it is the owners wish that clients buy water from their store….»-I was told that ordering taxi would be cheaper if reception called than if I got a taxi myself. This is rubbish, as I had to pay 40 leva for taxi to Sunny Beach ordered by the hotel, and when I got taxi back by myself I payed only 25 leva. Every time the hotel booked it was the same driver that showed up…. Coincidence??? Or maybe a deal between the taxidriver and receptionist??? Well, I dont know, but I felt cheated on the price for taxi.

Wanted to say thank you, we are definitely coming back, very highly recommend for a laid back chill holiday. Everything was just as expected. Need to mention the restaurant, left us with a very good impression.Quality and tastes of everything was absolutely exceptional, also loved how they cater for vegetarians. DELICIOUS dishes & beautiful presentation. ERHAN is definitely a MasterChef ?, they know what they do and to make guests happy is a priority here ?

    Can't fault a thing

Location, facilities, food and staff willingness to help are outstanding here.

The pool, like in every hotel built sorounding it, was too cold for my taste.

    10EduardPosted on: 8-12-2022

everything was perfect, the staff is very friendly and nice, Lada and Anastacia from the pool bar especially. we had a great time. Also is very clean and the food is good for the price that you pay.

    10SerhiiPosted on: 7-28-2022

The food was quite tasty. Staff from the restaurant deserves good feedback, they tried to do their best, especially the manager who manages the whole process and tries to improve certain things on the fly.Approximately 7 min to the beach to walk.

The waiters should work better. They should serve quicker and with greater quality. And they Should be prohibited to grab food while the dinner is lasting since they should concentrate their attention on clients' service.Information about All-inclusive (when breakfast/dinner starts/finishes, what includes else) should be shared among the customers when they check in. This info I found on my own. While we check in the doorman did not offer to carry bags.

Nice location decency decor very clean staff seemed a bit glum ! Wasn't any hospitality, or any entertainment put on like most other all inclusive s . Continental breakfast basics more suited to your eastern European clientsLunch ok too I didn't ever diner as we dined out restaurants around were good ! Was very quiet for this time of year not much atmosphere! And the weather wasn't unfortunately dismal most the time so not much to be done there ! Bar staff were stunning looking though had no charisma. We're very regimented couldn't strike up any conversation build a rapour. Maybe they had other things on their minds coming from the Ukraine. So heart felt sympathy. Manage behind the desk and behind seen very stern. Daniel and Angel front desk staff ? Great personalities very welcoming friendly and professional and helpful easy to to approach for anything . Just what a western gent like my self likes to be greeted after a 9 hour journey ! And soon leaving ! Well done lads ??

The room was cleaned daily, the staff was very polite

The food was repetitive (7 dishes each day), and we stayed 7 nights. This is the only thing wich I think they can improve

    7AndreiPosted on: 8-29-2021

Room cleaning is the only 4 star hotel The positioning is in the southern part of Sunny Beach, close to the train specially arranged for routes to Nesebar. in total the grade is 7

First of all, the parking spaces are limited but very few and there is a way to leave the car 2 km away (parking specially arranged for hotel guests where there is a driver who takes you to the car and vice versa). The food menu is quite small.

Excellent location - the beach is 5 minutes away, 30 minutes walk to the old town of Nessebar or there is a mini train nearby. There are many restaurants and shops nearby. Good varied breakfast. For a couple of nights we did not see the negative. If you need "all inclusive" - you need to go to Turkey!)

Narrow beds in a triple room! Seasonal cost is a little expensive)
