Friendly staff, rooms were nice. Breakfast was great.

It is an historic building opened as a hotel in 1660. It is managed by two sisters, the 14th generation of the original family. It has as many modern updates as needed for a pleasant experience.

We loved the setting and delightful sound of a nearby cuckoo bird!

Staff provided exceptional service. Room was spacious and clean.

It was a very nice room with good mattresses and pillows. There was an elevator and a decent breakfast buffet.

Convenient location on the main square in Vilseck. Coffee machine was really good. Staff was extremely accommodating with check in and check out.

Breakfast was a bit sparse, but that could have been because I visited during a lull in tourism

Hotel Angerer is a splendid establishment in excellent condition and conveniently located to the military base at Vilseck. Both ladies on staff were friendly, helpful, and seemed more like my favorite aunts than reception desk staff. The rooms were immaculate and recently remodeled. Unlike some other facilities around the rural German/Czech border, basic necessities were provided. Breakfast was a combination of typical European breads, meats, cheeses, yoghurt and cereals as well as eggs cooked to order. And it is an easy walk to restaurants, with a good choice of alternatives for a small town.

The lift was out of order but being repaired--it should be up and running. But even then, I liked going up the stairway, as it was rather charming in appearance. I also would have loved to see a multilingual description of the building's history--we got a brief recap from one of the ladies, and when you have about 500 years of history, you really should talk a bit about it!

The room we had was recently renovated and had a modern look. Really nice and roomy.

Hallway is still under construction. Elevator didn't work and room was all the way on the top floor. Lots of stairs to carry our luggage.

Plenty of parking outside. Staff was very nice. Breakfast was great. Room was very clean. I would definitely stay here again.

An omelet for breakfast would have been nice :) But honestly eggs cooked fresh when you arrive at your table was a good second best. Nice that no eggs going to waste.

It was convenient to our son’s location. Very Clean and comfortable. The property manager was very kind and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again.

Very nice rooms and staff was very friendly! Beds were comfortable and the room was much larger than we expected, excellent for the price!

The walls are a bit thin and we could hear all the activity in the hallways.

Beautiful historical building, clean tidy room, excellent heating, shower / facilities , staff were very understanding when we were delayed due to heavy rains/ storm. Breakfast was delicious highly recommended

Nothing - no complaints or concerns

The staff were so welcoming and friendly. All of your basic needs for a hotel are met and for an affordable price! The water pressure in the shower was the best I have ever experienced at a hotel. I really enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Angerer!

A few more towels provided in the room would have been nice, however, a quick call to reception and more were delivered quickly.

Breakfast was outstanding. The hotel was perfectly situated and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming.

The hotel staff are very nice people. The rooms are nice and the perfect size. There are 4 food establishments within a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel. The pear juice they serve for breakfast is good.
