Pros +
- Very comfortable room, clean and cosy. Bed was very good..Enjoyed an excellent breakfast. The array of local fresh products offered to guests was much appreciated. The staff were courteous and helpful. A special thanks to the gentlemen who advised on wine choice in restaurant for evening meal. A very professional and kind person. A rarity in today's world !Highly recommend this hotel and restaurant in a lovely setting
- Hotel is close to the city center and easy to find. The breakfast was great.
- Helpful staff, great restaurant with interesting and delicious food. Appreciated being able to securely store our bikes.
Cons -
- No reception even though we did arrive around 17:00 during a week-day... feels very impersonal. The restaurant was closed as were all other restaurants in walking distance of the hotel. Better planning and taking care of the guests (by making sure there is a place to eat for your guests would have been good). The rooms are very noisy... you can hear the neighbours speak without attempting to and no, they were not shouting...
- Rooms were fine but quite small. The evening meal was a real highlight, but for those traveling on a budget it might be more than they want to spend.
- Restaurant closed on Sunday night. Had trouble making coffee machine work at breakfast.

Clean modern room in centre of Villers-le-Lac, on GR5 / E2 long distance path.
Restaurant closed on Sunday night. Had trouble making coffee machine work at breakfast.
Breakfast was very good and also the service. Very central the hotel.
Street was a little bit loud
Really good restaurant. One of the best around there
Rooms are too small and loud
great location on the GR5 for hikers
No aircon. very noisy from the roads and the TV in the next room. No lights above the bed
Good location. Comfortable rooms.
A bit difficult to access. We arrived quite late. The owner left 3 room keys without informing what floors the rooms are on and we got different floors. The parking place should also be informed.
