All was good

The hotel was very nice. The reception area is very impressive. Location superb for motorcycle roads. Scenery outstanding. Breakfast was excellent, but restaurant food ‘ok’….

You definitely need a car go get here but what and amazing place to drive to. The hotel is set I'm the middle of a valley and has great views. Our room was great with a good size terrace.The staff were great and the restaurant downstairs is good value with a good spread for breakfast.The pool is cold water but refreshing in the Spanish summer heat.

The restaurant and food is not very good but adequate The pool and pool area was dirty and unkeptThe internet wasn’t working while we was there which meant we had to leave a day early as my partner needed internet access for work the management needs to look at getting better internet IE Starkink not Telefonica as it is now this is no way adequate for the area of the hotel

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location for the best motor biking roads. Exceptionally friendly helpful staff who went the extra mile to make our stay memorable. Clean comfortable room. Good food & wine

Very nice hotel in the middle of nowhere.

You have to dinner at the hotel. There is nothing else. The food was very poor and expensive for Spain. The breakfast could be better too.

No tea/coffee-making facility in room. Evening meal food very good...BUT..... servings were far, far too big. A lot of food must get wasted, which is not good.

The Hotel reception has a big wow factor. Anna and Carlos were fantastic hosts, happy and positive and so helpful. The grounds and surroundings are beautiful.

Lovely hotel and great location on the Silent Route. Friendly staff. Bed was very comfortable and because of its location I would recommend half board which was good value.

Unfortunately I had people on either side of my room who wanted to talk into the early hours and the sound deadening between my room and theirs was very poor.

An old paper mill converted into a hotel...in an incredible and secluded location. My route took me by motorbike via the A-1702, better known as THE SILENT ROUTE. It is a little over 60km long country road in very good condition, which leads through a beautiful landscape of valleys and hills, a must for motorcyclists (absolutely recommended if you are in the area). The Hostal de la Trucha is a wonderful option to stay relaxed and quiet in the middle of this nature, restaurant, bar and pool are available. the service fully meets expectations. Absolutely courteous staff, a good menu in the restaurant and the silence there are reasons to stop driving there for the night.

Everything, especially the comfort, the service, the food/dinners, and the big terrace with a great view! This place has a special atmosphere and offers everything for a great stay!

What an amazing building located in stunning scenery. The grounds were great and the interior was superbly fitted out.We had to leave early and the staff kindly provided an early breakfast for us. We had dinner at the hotel, the food was very enjoyable and our waiter was very pleasant and helpful.All in all a great experience.

didn’t really accommodate vegetarians in the restaurant. I asked the day before and was told there were vegetarian options on the menu. there wasn’t anything, the staff did their best but it was pretty poor.

Scenery was outstanding , walks in the area brilliant.Staff very friendly and accommodating. My wife found the breakfast area lights too bright and they turned them off.The basins in the bathroom looked gteat.Thank you very much.

The card door key was poor and placing it in socket to function the electrics annoying.. I would probably get used to it. It's a Lovely Hotel

A unique hotel in a unique location. Fabulous meals, friendly staff and General Manager Carlos and his wife Anna are doing an amazing job! We wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely be returning!

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant is good. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Great location.
