Hotel Corona de Castilla

Most everything, including the staff.After a short trip around town, upon our arrival all parking spaces were taken. The RECEPTIONIST KINDLY OFFER TO MOVE IS CAR somewhere else so we could park in the hotel parking... THAT'S SERVICE AT ITS BEST!

People talking in the lobby is really loud in a first floor bedroom. Very noisy Hotel especially at 3am!The restaurant next door closes at 5pm on Saturday and Sunday. We arrived Saturday evening & booked this hotel because it had a restaurant next door. Very BasicWe booked a room with a balcony, but there wasn't one.

It's newly renovated so the facilities are not bad and the breakfast is cheap.

It was a nice hotel, very clean and comfortable, great shower, very friendly efficient staff, breakfast good value for money.

Easy to find and parking directly in front. Only a few minutes drive from central Salamanca. We actually walked it. Excellent value for money. Great shower.

We once again stopped here. Both on the way to Portugal and then back to the ferry at Santander. Very rare we have a problem but when we have it's always been sorted quickly. Still our go to hotel on our trips to Portugal which I don't see changing

The only problem we had was the bed pillow. It was a bolster. My wife likes 2 pillows whereas I prefer one. I could have asked for it to be changed but we made do

The room was basic but clean. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. We had an excellent nights sleep after our long drive from Huelva.

Convention location. We slept here and drove the short distance into Salamanca the next morning.There was a very good restaurant two doors down.The car was parked out the front of the hotel, so easy.

Easy access. Good location. Free parking was a big plus

No electric kettle in room. Would greatly help for late arrivals like us

This was the best value for the money hotel I experienced since a long time. They served excellent breakfast and coffee, free parking in front of the building with a view on my car, super close to the highway and not far from the center.

Bathroom was spacious and room was clean.Parking for my bike was suggested right in by the door beneath shelter which was very appreciated.Breakfast is nothing special but probably worth the nominal €3.70 charge.

On entering the room there was an immediate smell of smoke, I presume from previous visitors...however, I feel the windows could have been opened to allow some fresh air prior to taking more guests.Toilet flush didn't work initially and had to call reception. After explaining to me what was the possible issue over the phone, reception eventually offered to come look at it...this should have been immediately said, I'm not going to fix a toilet myself in a room I've rented! When I sat on the bed prior to leaving ,one of the support boards beneath fell out of place, luckily I wasn't hurt.

Free parking

You can have a fresh air or darkness, not both. Black! mold in shower! WiFi not working. The room is not soundproof. No view (well, we do not count airconditioners as view).

Location, cleanness and value for money

Wifi didn’t work at all, I had the last room far away from wifi router

This hostel is perfect for a short stop, especially if you need to drive further on the next day. The rooms are big and well equipped, the air--condition was working very well.

The only issue is that you can hear everything what is happening on the floor and in the next room. So, if you are happy and there are no guests, this can be one of the perfect stays, but of the guests are coming back very late or there are small kinds in the next room, you will hear everything.

A clean, adequate motel on the outskirts of Salamanca close to the motorway, so easy to find and easy to use as a base into the city. Inexpensive but all the features you need.

This hotel looked newly renovated. There were new wooden floors and brand new furniture. The bathroom with a large shower cubicle looked clean and shining. The bidet was shining but the gaps for my feet looked too small..There was continental breakfast and the breakfast room door opened at 7.00am prompt.This hotel was difficult to find but Zamora Rd gave a good direction. Its just that the village had three areas, an industrial area (1st area located) 2nd area main village (told) to follow bus . 3rd area (by football stadium true other side of motorway. The map was kind of right but I was thinking the hotel was in industrial estate on the road to zamora on way to Salamanca town centre. There is a bus stop nearby. There is a frequent bus service to town centre. The hotel has ample car parking spaces.

Nothing .It would be a good idea to tell people to look for the football stadium by motorway at Villares de la Reina.

This is a motel the way it should be. Just off the highway and still quiet. Reasonably small scale, restaurant next door. Clean and good beds. Parking in front. No worries.

Friendly staff, a clean and cozy room and parking in front of the entrance. I slept well and would come back, when in town again. =)

Location was good just off motorway but quiet Restaurant next door excellent at good price.Didn't take breakfast after reading reviews so can't comment. Room was nice but bathroom layout bit strange making shower pretty much unusable as it was long but thin very awkward to use.

Simple but all in good shape, neat and clean. Instant hot water, good towels, free parking and good wifi.

I was fully satisfied, this hotel offers a fair deal.
