We drove from Athens and spent four days at Sunrise Beach. The hotel is a bit dated giving late 80s vibes, but very pleasant overall. All staff very friendly and polite. A good mix of guests (as in couples/families, older/younger, French/Polish/British/Greek).Good sized swimming pool which we did not really use, but it looked clean and busy. We used the large private beach instead, which was not that busy. The sea was clean but might be a bit too deep/rough for smaller children. Nice mature gardens leading to the shore.The rooms were spacious and everything worked as expected. New air conditioning units, which is very important during July/August in this part of Greece. Bathroom/ shower room spacious and clean. Room clean overall, and the cleaning ladies very nice and polite.Buffet breakfast was very good with a variety of options. Spread over three hours (essentially 7-10am) which gives a relaxed vibe as guests do not need to rush. The only occasional queue was at the coffee machines or kids waiting for their pancakes to be made fresh. All the young girls and boys that work at the restaurant area and very efficient, polite and helpful.We booked B&B only but most other guests were half/full board with wristbands. On the first day we paid for dinner coupons (€15pp) which was also buffet, again spread over three hours (7-10pm). For that low price at an all inclusive our expectations were low, but we were pleasantly surprised: the food was actually very good. Wide selection of many dishes and desserts, most of which were quite tasty. We ended up having dinner at the hotel every day of our stay, as the children liked it and we were all too tired to drive in the heat after a day of doing nothing.

The only thing I found annoying was the occasional rubbish on the beach. Not necessarily a reflection on the hotel, but rather the guests that left their plastic cups and/or cigarette butts behind.

Location is perfect for a relaxing holiday, with a private beach and lovely gardens. Our room was spacious and had a balcony with a fantastic view of the sea. The hotel's restaurant offered a great selection of Greek dishes and we enjoyed every meal. The pool area was never overcrowded, and the beach was clean and peaceful. A very beautiful and picturesque area, with comfortable shaded parking, excellent sea views, and a large garden with plenty of greenery. A picturesque path to the beach through the greenery, about 3-5 minutes walk. The beach had sand and dark pebbles outside but had rocks inside, making swimming difficult in some places. The hotel manager was helpful and friendly, but not the receptionist. Very good and abundant breakfast with a large variety and good quality! Large and beautiful pool. Excellent view from our very large balcony, just like the room (333). Good and powerful air conditioning!

We made the booking on Booking.com complete with a reservation number in the afternoon of 26/7/2024 and arrived in the evening of the same day around 9 PM. At the reception, we were informed by the receptionist that they had not received the booking from Booking.com and there was a suspicion that there might not be a room for us. Eventually, after quite some time, the booking was found but we waited for over half an hour to get a room, while priority was given to other customers who arrived after us.There was loud music the night we stayed due to an event until about midnight. There was also loud music during the day at the pool for morning events. Generally, there is no peace and quiet.The hotel operates mainly with large agencies from abroad that impose noisy events while bookings through Booking.com are given second priority. The beach is small and quickly fills up with people with few loungers (most of them white and hard). Although our balcony was large, it had painted cement and not tiles on the floor.

I had a wonderful stay at Sunrise Village Beach Hotel. All was amazing, from the buffet which had plenty of options to satisfy even the pickiest eaters to the clean and nicely decorated room. Staff also was attentive and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. A perfect spot for a getaway!
