Hostellerie Bourguignonne

The hotel staff were exceptional. They went above and beyond during our stay. The breakfast was fresh and there was plenty to choose from. The kitchen making us late night sandwiches after we returned home from a wedding was great. Sunday we were hanging around and the chef made the 10 of us an unbelievable meal for lunch. Generous portions, great local dishes and the flavor was delicious.

The friendly ambience and the excellent food. Definitely a fine dining experience from a very friendly and excellent chef. The gardens were beautifully planned out and maintained.

Restaurant closed, We wanted to eat a minor snack . They made us a cheese and salami plate with 3 glasses wine..Price : 92 Eur....very expensive...Also rather far from the highway to the south.

Very nice hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. The airconditioning was put on before we arrived so the room was a nice temperature. Dinner was amazing, filet de boeuf was perfect; and most important; babyfone had reach from the room so we could have dinner with the children in bed. Exactly half way to south of France with only 15 min detour from route du soleil so great halfway stop.

They have a very nice garden but we did not have an option for dinner outside

the property is absolutely charming and every detailed is cared for; the owners and staff shows the care for the guest experience from the minute you step in.

The room was very nice, though a little small - and the walls were very thin, so that it's very easy to hear other guests in the hallway or in their rooms

The restaurant and bar were closed on Sunday evening , the evening of our stay.I picked this venue as the restaurant had such good reviews so it was very disappointing to find that it was closed for our one night stay. This was not obvious on the booking.com website until I had committed to staying , given my credit card details and the price of the room was non refundable . I would have cancelled my booking and found an alternate venue with an open restaurant if I had been able to cancel my booking. Booking.com should make it very clear that the restaurant is closed on Sunday evenings before you commit to staying.

Cosy restaurant with a big beautiful garden. Allegedly, great food (the restaurant was closed for an event the night we stayed there).

BUT: the hotel building is very old = squishy, paper-thin walls, steep narrow stairs, and even the floor boards are so shaky that you can feel a person walking through the corridor while you're lying in bed. Meager breakfast for an additional the price of EUR 15 and a place that has an almost-Michelin-star restaurant.

The breakfast was excellent and served outdoors as the weather was sunny and hot. The evening dinner was also served outside and the food and service were really good. We were very impressed by the beautiful garden and the car parking was good.

The staircase to the first floor bedrooms was a little steep but help was offered for carrying our luggage.

Location, architecture and amazing staff !The people working at Hostellerie Bourguignonne have helped us in many ways and going beyond their duties. Catherine enabled my family of 9 people to have a last minute drink on a Easter Monday while every other eating establishment was too busy for a large group. We were so grateful for the staff kindness and their ways to go beyond all our expectations. What an amazing experience in such a great place in Burgundy! Thank you so much.

The property is quite beautiful, and the room is stylist old style.

The staff charged us the room even if we actually already paid it directly to Booking. It took 30 minutes for them to figure out we actually paid... Seems very amateur operation.The associated restaurant is clearly not a highlight: surprising but not very successful associations of frozen products arranged in a gastronomic style.
