Calma Boutique Hotel

The very friendly staff, the size and the location almost ON the beach makes this a true boutique hotel. The only "fly in the soup": despite a wonderful menu the restaurant is closed at 6pm.

We would have loved to dine in the hotel restaurant, but to our disappointment we had to go somewhere else because Calma restaurant closed a 6pm.

The breakfast had a lot of choices.Yoghurt excellent with a lot of toppings.

The position was fantastic and the staff very friendly and helpful.

The hot water sometimes ran out.

superb location - small family hotel excellently run ( only 12 rooms )- great attention to detail, very chic calming interior design. All hotel spotlessly clean. The cozy rooms are beautifully decorated and have nice balconies but not all rooms have full sea view , some have partial sea view We upgrade to a suite on the upper floor which had amazing sweeping views of the bay and great space and a large balcony.

In the Cozy rooms there were no shelves only hanging space although there seemed to be room to introduce a chest of some kind.

Exceptional property. Very comfortable beds. Very clean. I was really impressed. The food is wonderful. I enjoyed some wonderful breakfasts on the terrace, snacks on the beach and chilled with wine and Fred fruit on my balcony. The Agathopes beach is perfect. It’s a beautiful and safe beach. Everything was perfect. A last note to thank the owners and staff. Everyone was lovely, friendly and helpful.

The location is wonderful - a few steps to the beach. The staff and owners were fantastic - always ready to help and very friendly.

Bathroom was small so shower water went everywhere. But it was always cleaned up so not a big problem

The location on the beach is just amazing. Rooms are very clean, furniture is new and the staff is very friedly.

The hotel is overpriced. Rooms are quite small, the bathroom was extremely small. Breakfast is poor. You need to ask for every bite. We asked for cheese and just got two slices. We asked for more and got another two slices. Even hotel guests need to pay for sunbeds on the hotel beach between 35 and 20 Euros depending on the row. I‘ve never seen such a thing in any other hotel around the world.

Lovely hotel in Syros. We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is directly located at one of the most beautiful beaches in Syros. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are nice and well-equiped, the service was very welcoming and fullfilled every wish we had and the breakfast was just awesome. Especially the breakfast is very tasty and the fresh juices in the morning are so delicous. In addition, close to the hotel are some really nice restaurants. The main city of Syros can be reached easily by taxi for ca. 15€. If you search for a real Greek experience apart from main tourism in Greece, the Calma hotel is a wonderful place. For us it was the perfect hotel to relax from daily life at home.

Great location with wonderful beach just across a (quiet) street, tastefully decorated, super clean - you have everything you need and nothing you dont need.

Located directly at the beach, this beautiful place is not the usual tourist location. It's really something special, with just a few rooms and everybody, from owner to cleaning personal, super attentive while at the same time non-intrusive and creating an atmosphere of peace and relaxation. The breakfast was just extraordinary, high quality fresh fruit and everything else we had. Overall the perfect place for a magical experience.

ac in the room could get colder. the room temperature never dropped below mid 70's and after a long day at the beach we wanted a colder room.
