Pros +
- The pool overlooking the mountain was beautiful. We enjoyed relaxing there in the late afternoon and late morning. We greatly appreciated the large room and shower. It was the best shower we took all trip. We also appreciated and loved the high quality lotion, shampoo, conditioner, slipper, and bathrobe. It was the only hotel that provided these things.
- Quiet rural location. Comfortable room. Thank you.
- Very clean and modern luxury hotel for a special treat short stay. It has an excellent restaurant with a Brazilian chef who specialises in interesting dishes with a Brazilian spin. The balcony rooms overlook Mont Saint Victoire and the hotel itself is located in a simple French village approx 20 minutes drive from Aix en Province.
Cons -
- It was very disappointing that the staff didn't acknowledge my birthday or our anniversary, which I put in the notes when we made our dinner reservation. We ate at the Michelin restaurant which was disappointing. We left hungry after eating dinner and had a protein bar back in our hotel room. The staff acknowledged my birthday at the end with a small chocolate dessert dipped in olive oil from the chef. However, it would have been preferred if they acknowledged my birthday and made us feel special from the very beginning. We also ordered 4 rounds of adult beverages and there was no top off. Again, I would have expected a generous pour, esp since it was my birthday and anniversary. Or, a complimentary coup de champagne. It is very hard to see how this restaurant received a Michelin for food and service since both were sub-standard. At the Best Western Hotel Brice Garden where we stayed for 1 day before our flight, our room was upgraded and my partner and me both received a complimentary coup de champagne for my birthday. Again, nothing special from the hotel or the staff to acknowledge our celebrations. Left hungry and disappointed. We didn't order breakfast because we were afraid that again we would pay a lot of money and leave hungry.

- Internet connection was unstable requires frequent reconnection and performance was not good

The suite was very nicely decorated and comfortable, and included a balcony overlooking the mountains. The employees, from the restaurant to the front desk to the cleaners were all wonderful, generous, and extremely accommodating.Breakfast was included- my husband ordered the omelette and said it was perfect. We ate at the restaurant one night and loved. The hotel was located in the gorgeous town of Vauvenargues which is absolutely glorious and there are wonderful hiking trails located across the street.

Our stay at Hotel Saine Victoire was magical. A gorgeous, but not fussy, modern boutique hotel. Stunning scenery, amazing food, welcoming and attentive staff. Secure, easy parking. One of our nicest stays ever in Europe. We would love to return. While not cheap (particularly if you eat in at the restaurant), the cost was not unexpected given high season, quality of the hotel and the excellent food - for what we got, better value than some of the other 4-star hotels we booked in France/Italy.
Not cheap - but see above!
We loved the ambience of the hotel. It's location is stunning. The staff were wonderful. Our room and balcony, pool , terrace, restaurant and facilities were exceptional. You could not wish for a better place. It is the complete package. You would find it very difficult to improve on what you get. The bar tender made a wonderful red berry mojito which was his own creation. It was outstandingly delicious.
The hotel was very nice and super clean. The staff was super friendly, and accommodating. The room we had was nice and had a great view. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this area.
I wish they had additional food options / room service.
A gorgeous well appointed hotel 20 mins from Aix en Provence. The location is idyllic. The rooms are modern and clean. The breakfast was simple and tasty and the service was excellent.
The setting opposite the Mt Sainte Victoire is awesome with the mystique of the inaccessible chateau framing the view onward to the Cross of Provence. The cuisine sublime. Charming staff.
It was perfect for our 2 day stay in a most beautiful part of Provence.
Welcome. Facilities. Food. Secure parking.
Understated friendly luxury-the staff were so nice and helpful. The dinner and breakfast are really excellent. The rooms very clean and comfortable.
An amazing gourmet restaurant was the one redeeming feature of this hotel. It was probably top 3 meals I’ve ever had. However, one does not need to stay at the property in order to experience it.
There is nothing much I liked about this hotel. The rooms were tiny. Once i placed my suitcase and travel bag, there was hardly any space left. This is a kind of hotel where you just sleep, shower and then go on your merry way. The maid service was absolutely terrible. Dirty towels were not changed and instead, placed back on the rack. It also came to my attention that while cleaning, they would place garbage can on the bed. You are better of not having service done. Finally, the breakfast is not good at all. Surprising, given their gourmet dinner service. You will get better croissants from Costco.
Nice place.
The only complaint we had was "no A-C" as it was broken. Not supposed to happen in a 4-star hotel.
the restaurant is great, the view as well, the pool is nice
a little bit tiny, but just enough for us
Clean tidy, pleasant staff. Great view. Fantastic restaurant
Small room, poor sound proofing, no milk for coffee. No surfaces to place anything. A few poorly functioning items such as above bed light and leaking old fashioned shower hose. No bathroom extraction so mirror misted for ages. Amazingly despite the price the small complementary water, one bottle between two people was not replaced for the second day of our stay because there was 1/4 bottle left.
Great location , fantastic restaurant . Very welcoming staff and dogs friendly
Dog friendly , beautiful landscape all around . Staff professional and friendly .
Smart and comfortable modern hotel in a beautiful location and with an interesting place in Vauvenargues culture and an excellent chef in the restaurant kitchen. A very nice way to stay in a very nice part of France.
This hotel is perfect for a romantic escape in the middle of nature. Everything was outstanding: the view, the room, friendly staff, the restaurant (Michelin Star, very creative cuisine).
Everything was perfect! One of the best hotel experiences ever!
