The White Rose Hotel

The room, actually, small apartment with separate bedroom and living room-kitchen, was excellent. Very confortable big bed (Queen+?). They even gave us a place with a nice balcony with excellent view to the sea (from a distance) and to the area, inluding a lot of greenery. Breakfast was good.

The bathroom. Shower not appealing and overall, the bathroom was not at par with the rest of the space. Also, you had to switch on a heater to get hot water (and it took a while). Breakfast would be better with some heated items (pies), maybe better coffee.

We had a lovely stay at the White Rose Hotel. The staff was so nice and kind, and the owner was very helpful and friendly. The rooms are large and airy, there is a lovely terrace and the breakfast is nice too. The location is very convenient, there is a free beach at 10 minutes walk, a supermarket and bakery at just 5 minutes walk. Would definitely stay here again!

We were warmly welcomed by the owner, who gave us some helpful tips to get the best out of our stay. We booked 2 rooms. Both rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. Really good breakfast. Location was ideal. Near supermarket, restaurants and main beach nearby.

Everything was perfect. Parking was limited.

Loved our stay at the White Rose Hotel! The apartment was really big, the kitchen well equipped and the whole place was clean and neatly decorated. Felt like a luxury for such a reasonable price! We had a balcony with views of the beach where we could relax before or after a day out. The owner, Alex, was really friendly and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Overall, amazing place to stay. Highly recommend it! It's about a half hour walk from the main town which is nice if you want a quiet stay, but there is a supermarket and a really nice bakery right down the street so you have everything you need.

Fantastic value for a very comfortable apartment. Alex, the proprietor, was extremely friendly & helpful. A lovely place to stay for 3 nights with a great bakery just round the corner. Just a 30 minute walk into the port. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Alex and his wife Andra were very welcoming and friendly, they made me feel at home from the first day. Alex was very helpful with suggestions about Poros and the area. The hotel is situated about 30-40 minutes walk from Poros port where most of the bars, restaurants and shops are located. But there is an excellent bakery nearby and a fairly good supermarket for daily provisions. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated in rustic style, with air conditioning, an electric kettle and two-ring induction hob for cooking. Comfortable bed. Nice views to the sea from the small terrace and a large garden at the rear of the hotel amongst trees. It's a 10-minute walk to Askeli Beach, for an early morning dip in the clear, blue waters. There are a few restaurants along the beach.

The hotel is reached by ascending quite a steep hill, which could be a challenge for people with mobility issues, and most rooms do not have step-free access so this again could be a hurdle for people with accessibility needs. Although you are away from most of the traffic on the coast road, you do hear noisy mopeds and bikes as they struggle up the hill. This is Greece, so you'll have to get used to dogs barking at all hours.

The rooms were very clean and very aesthetic, the breakfast was nice and the owner was very helpful and kind , also the location of the hotel is great .

It was really spacious, clean, sunny and well taken care of. The view from our balcony was exceptional. We wanted to spend our time there the whole night!

Perfect place to stay in Poros. The apartment was lovely. Airy, comfortable, with a lot of natural light and great sea view. The hosts pay great attention to details and you have all you could possibly need. Great bakery and supermarket near by, down the road which takes you fast to the nearest beach. Taxi to the Port costs around 6 euro.

The experience was exceptional! The amount of work that the family put in such a short time is impressive and the result is amazing! We can't wait to visit again next year to see the new upgrades to the place! The selection of furniture and interior design give off a relaxing vibe. There is a lot of natural light and quiet due to its location. The breakfast was very traditional and the amount was as much as needed. I especially enjoyed the fresh fruits, nuts and tasty yogurt and honey. Our stay turned into a great experience because of the owners! It wouldn't be the same without them! Alexandros was very kind and helpful, ready to give great suggestions about beaches and restaurants to visit during our stay.

There was an "ant attack" in the living room during the first night (probably because we are so close to the nature). The owner took immediate action and solved the problem. We appreciated his fast reaction, understanding and effectivity.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this beautiful hotel in Poros! Everything was perfect, from the moment we arrived until our last day. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. He was always available to answer our questions, offer great recommendations, and assist with anything we needed. We fully enjoyed the tastefully renovated bright room with spacious balcony we had. Wifi is great, so is breakfast. The hotel has a lovely garden space to relax in. Grocery store and cafe is just a 5 min walk away and 10 min walk downhill to the nearest organised beach. Communication with host was excellent - informative and friendly. Although it's some distance from Poros old town and port area, there are several options you can choose from to get there and back if you wish so. The hotel rents e-bikes, you can take taxi or water taxi or walk(approx 35 min).We will definately be returning to enjoy this calm and relaxing place longer.

Everything was to our liking and expectations.

The White Rose Hotel with all amenities, a beautiful sandy Askeli beach and everything you need was nearby: restaurants, shops, cafes. The hotel has light-filled and tastefully furnished rooms. You can cook your own food in the kitchen. Outside in the garden there is a barbecue area and a nice yard, which is suitable for families with children. Very quiet area.

This hotel is truly amazing! The room exceeded our expectations in the best possible way, as it was really spacious, clean and beautiful. The property's location is convenient with a mini market nearby and it is very close to the sea. The hotel staff is very courteous and it is evident that they care about their guests and always want to provide them with ultimate comfort, which we really appreciated! Thank you so much, we will definitely return!

Although everything about the hotel was perfect, there were ongoing works at a nearby property, so we heard some noise from the construction. Nevertheless, it is important to mention that this was not the fault of the hotel and the property owner tried his best to make our stay comfortable.

This was a wonderful stay and we were made to feel so welcomed, Nothing was too much for the owner who gave us great advice on our stay, The rooms are very new and pleasant and I highly recommend th White Rose. Although breakfast was not included, we were offered a free breakfast on our final day, which was delicious. This reflected how kind the owners were to their guests. I have stayed in several paces in Greece and this was the best

Nothing...everything was wonderful

The staff was super friendly and helpful, they checked with us every day in case we needed anything. The location was also great, if you're looking for passive vacation, as the hotel is only 3-5 minutes away from the beach and it's not in the central town, so there is less noise.

FYI, there is little means of transportation for bigger groups of people, you can either book a cab or have to rent separately scooters/bikes near the hotel. But the staff offered to arrange the taxi for us, which was great.

So fresh and airy! Loved the room, it was very stylish and quite spacious. The hotel has very nice and private garden. I enjoyed everything and had very nice sleep. It's only few minutes walk away from the bakery, shop and restaurants and beach. Young and helpful hosts. 10 points ?
