- I stayed in this restaurant hotel back in 2017. After so many years it keeps the standard. The room is extremely clean and new. Free parking right at rear of the hotel. Supermarket is literally attached to the rear of the hotel. Food in the hotel restaurant is great. Staff are all kind and willing to help. Big thumbs up.

- The room was very cold (18C) when I got in and it took until the morning to warm up. The duvet was very appreciated as well as the towel heater and bathroom floor heating that helped to warm up the room.
- We found two errors with our bill which left us feeling a bit grumpy. One was re-paid immediately (the charge for the wine consumed by the previous occupants of our table), the other was overlooked (the local tax for four occupants when there were only three of us).

Really great staff, location and modern rooms. Stayed for nearly a week and cleanliness was top tier. I’ll stay here each time I’m in town.

Lovely hotel with really friendly and attentive staff. Set in a small village the hotel is located centrally with good amenities close by. We used the hotel for a work conference and they had a nice room set up for 11 of us for a 2 day strategy workshop. The hotel provided everything from Projector, screens, flip chart paper, easel, pens etc and lots of snacks and refreshments. Only 9 rooms in the hotel which made it more special and not be lost in lots of crowds/people.Breakfast, lunch and evening meal were delicious with really good portion sizes and the venue had a lovely relaxing atmosphere. Would definitely stay again when back in the area.

De Ploeg is a small hotel in the centre of Varsseveld. The rooms are spacious, the beds are excellent and so is the bathroom. Their corona solution for breakfast and drinks is very generous.
Great breakfast.Staff was helpful in storing my bicycle in the garage. The room was very clean and cool enough despite 26 degrees outside.
There was no refrigerator nor a waterboiler in my room, which is rather standard nowadays.
