- We were greeted on arrival by a very friendly and down-to-earth manager, not in the least formal or "corporate". The hotel restaurant in the garden terrace was a superb setting, and the food and the service were both very good. Breakfast was also a good variety of fruit, cereals and pastries.

Quirky room in a 'log cabin' type extension across a courtyard Dinner was good, breakfast adequate (and price reduced as no croissants). Host most ebullient and friendly. Excellent place for an overnight and OK for longer stay.

The hotel has a very old world feel with simple rooms and decor. The restaurant serves delicious meals and the staff could not be nicer or more helpful. Plenty of secure parking in their garage across the street. It was a simple and wonderful stay.

It was quite, even though it was next to a busy road. Beautiful scenery to gaze at whilst having a rest or eating a meal.
All the stairs I had to climb to get to the 2 floor. Breakfast not much choice. Late booking so last room available.
