Belussi Beach Hotel & Suites

The hotel was extremely clean with access to a gorgeous beach. The owners were very kind, friendly and accessible at any time for anything you needed. They provided us with tips and places to go to around the island, recommended restaurants and beaches as well as recommending us a rental car service so we could get around easier.

Belussi hotel is a nice accomodation in a quiet area, not in the middle of the busy towns, and you can access everywhere from there. It is in the front line of the coast, with direct access to the beach, and a swimming pool. The family running it are wonderful! And they were really kind and helpful providing us with ideas and options to do in the island when we asked them. It is a place where you can really relax if you want

The accommodation is a well run family hotel. The team are excellent in making you feel welcome from the point of arrival to the moment of leaving the premises. They are available throughout the day/evening for any questions. Wonderful communication and support in ordering taxi, restaurant ideas and booking trips to explore the other areas of the island. The restaurant and bar staff (special mention to Vasili and Antonio) are very attentive, punctual with their services, friendly and all in all very professional. I will recommend this hotel and would definitely consider staying there again should I visit that area of Zakynthos.

The location of the hotel is a distance away from the main Zakynthos town which meant that getting around required booking taxis (to and from). There is an option to take the bus but this runs only four times per day at some sparse times. - Some kind of entertainment at the hotel in the evening (nothing too noisy for those who prefer to have a nice evening at the hotel bar) would have been a welcomed addition and icing on the cake.

Big spacious rooms, ideal for travelling with baby. Also very clean, spotless. Lovely pool and views of ocean.

Clean and very relaxing. The owners went out of their way to make sure we had the info to maximize our time and see all the island has to offer. There is something for everyone all you have to do is ask.

Varied and delicious breakfast with panoramic view, nice staff, good clean every day and the pool area is soo nice.

The room was called a suite- not sure why as although large did not even have a chair in it - just a stool for the dressing table - there was no separate bathroom but instead a sink, cubicle for shower and toilet cubicle - a bit odd. Sun beds were REALLY uncomfortable I felt it was overpriced

The air conditioner in the room was broken, waited for 1-2 hours and couldn't find anyone to solve this problem, nor to change the room. It was very hot in summer, so we slept with the windows of the room open.

Rooms are comfortable, spasious and clean. Staff is polite. We liked that is peace and quite but you will need definitely a car. Owners are very polite and reasonable.

We have decided for this hotel because we have small child and expected beach in front of the hotel were you can swim. We even didn't mind that it has rocks because it was clean, but only first day of our stay. The next morning they decided to put a sand with truck on the beach and they destroyed everthing. The water was filled with mud and we had to rent a car to go to other places. Location is far away from everthing. It is good for peace and quiet but you need a car if you want to explore the island. Dinner is too expensive (25 per person) for a meal which you can't choose (a la carte). You get served for one dinner fish and meat. Better option would be a buffet.

The cleaning of the rooms is very good, the service in the restaurant is also good, the staff is kind and friendly, the view from the hotel is everything I liked.

First of all, we planned a vacation with my husband, but the plans changed, and my husband could not come with me. But it was not possible to return the money because it was a condition when booking, but Ok, the thought that I would enjoy my vacation was reassuring. But no, the hotel does not correspond to 4 stars and even 3 stars is too much. The first thing that surprised me was that the hotel room did not close well, there was a broken mirror in the room, There are no mosquito nets, so mosquitoes bother, There is no kettle, tea, or coffee in the hotel room, which is usually present in the rooms, there is no Wi-Fi in the room, after asking the staff why there is no Wi-Fi in the room, the answer was a lie, they explained it by the fact that some repair work was going on somewhere, although this is not true, as it turns out, this problem has existed for a long time in this hotel, The safe does not work, the air conditioner constantly drips water from it, The sound insulation is bad. The sofa is old.the food is monotonous, the buffet needs to be better and more varied, the drinks are cheap. Two days in a row, a person (staff) arbitrarily entered my room without permission, after the service was already done, and it was time for my daytime rest. I was naked then, and this is unacceptable. In response to my complaint to the hotel owner about this, the hotel owner explained that the staff checks whether the room is properly cleaned, but the rooms are completely cleaned and time has passed since cleaning, I think there should be some ethics and privacy. The beach is not proper at all, the sunbeds are broken, the umbrellas too, the beach is full of rocks, and there is no way to enjoy swimming, some guests are forced to go by bus to another place to enjoy the beach. There are no restaurants or shops nearby, and I didn't have the opportunity to rent a car, so it's not convenient either.

While we were there, there werent a lot of people.The private beach with the chairs and beach umbrellas (who where free) was also a plus.

It wasnt really clean, it coudve been worse but still. We had to pay for the safe, which was suprising.The beach wasnt very big and a little rocky.The wifi wasnt working at all and mobile data was also blocked in the rooms.The location was also a little inconvenient, you had to rent a car or get a taxi to get somewhere. There isnt really anything to do in the area and there are only 4-5 restaurants.The biggest idsue was that on booking.com it was labeled as a 4-star hotel, where as after some research we found out that it is a 3-star hotel.We also tried to rent a car multiple timesand they told us that they only had one car respectively one category and the first time we asked they said it was 80 and the second time it was suddenly 85 for the same car.

Rooms cleaned daily with towel and linen provided. Breakfast is OK, except the coffee. Friendly staff.

Satellite in our room did not work. It was working in other rooms. We asked a few times to have it fixed but with no success. Pool bar was providing very limited options for drinks and nothing for food. There is no beach (as wrongly advertised). The sea is full of rocks, totally inappropriate for any water activities.

Staff is very kind.... Location - at the beach. Garden and surrounding beautiful... Room clean and spacious... And food - divine!!!!!!!

A bit far from nearby town and shops.

Lovely gardens, helpful friendly staff, good pool and bar area, good selection of breakfast buffet . Could walk to several nearby restaurants avoiding busier roads. Reception helpful. Beach towels- small charge for changing

Location, really needed a car to get to other beaches, boat trips etc. And beach was stony/rocky so difficult to get into sea to swim, needed rubber shoes plus sun bed area was stony not very pleasant.

Perfect location to spend your holiday. Available of relaxing swimming pool and private beach. Most of all, the staff is very kind, helpful and always smiling.
