Pros +
- Absolutely stunning hotel, stunning views, very comfortable stay, great breakfast. They even allowed me to have my three dogs, which is not nothing!! We had the best time. Truly a beautiful place to stay. It feels luxurious but cozy.
- Villa Vager is a true gem. We arrived at Villa Vager to the most welcoming host, Nikos, with whom we had previously arranged for a home-cooked meal to be prepared for dinner on the night of our arrival. He and his wife have turned this property into pure magic. The views from the terrace of the valley below are stunning. The food we were served for dinner--a greek salad, chicken with lemon and potatoes, bread, and a chocolate biscuit dessert--was fantastic. Breakfast every morning was lovely, with wonderful coffee, pastry, bread, jams, yogurt, cheese, and meat on offer, with Nikos available to offer suggestions on how one could spend the day. We took Nikos' advice and visited nearby mountain towns as well as Nafplion, and wine tasted in the area. This is the perfect area, centrally located to wineries, beaches, and mountains in central Peloponnese. Our room was, I believe the smallest room on the property, but it was so warm (literally and figuratively), comfortable, and homey that we didn't need much space to enjoy the time that we spent at the hotel. The furnishings throughout the hotel were beautiful, the bathroom in our room was well appointed, and the overall experience was more than a 10/10. We will be back!
- The breakfast was excellent!Nothing to do with the mass production “ buffet “ of the grand hotels which are so similar and boring.
Cons -
- The very steep scale between the two levels of the room.
- Parking was a little difficult but not a massive issue.
- There was any air conditioning. Whith high air temperature, at night there is a problem. Even with fan.

The very steep scale between the two levels of the room.
Beautifully restored house with very attentive hosts.

The location, the room, the view and the breakfast are very good!

The architecture of the villas was fantastic. A lot of care given to all the details. The fireplace in the room made it feel very cosy. One of the biggest highlights was the spectacular view from the rooms and the breakfast terraces!
There was nothing particular we disliked. We just found the bathroom sink a bit uncomfortable because didn't have any space around it to place essentials.
Beautiful villa, its evidently carefully and lovingly restored and kind host. We were happy to be upgraded to the honeymoon suite. Breakfast was also excellent.
Location, we found it easily but as we drove up from the village we were thinking we were in the wrong place as the neighbouring houses were old and run down. We also thought that driving to our next stop (on our planned holiday road trip) to Olympia would be easily accessible, but were wrong. That's probably our own fault though.
Great location with excellent views and staff and breakfast were greatWe came at the end of May (before the season) and were the only ones at the villaThe room we booked via Booking did not have a view so we upgraded to a better room with an amazing viewPrice of the final room was not low
We wished we could have stayed longer- the villa is decorated so beautifully and the staff are all so friendly, it was a lovely experience, we will definitely return. The views from the terraces are also great.
I liked everything! I would only caution someone who is mobility impaired that there are numerous steps to navigate at the property (as expected in a traditional mountain area stone villa.)
Exceptional quality in all services provided, including the home-from-home breakfast and meals offered. Certain to return in years to come.
wonderful property, view, very high quality and attention to detail
The character and quality of the room/building and the furnishings used. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a standout.
