Clean, friendly, great space and lovely breakfast

I wish it was closer to more restaurant choices for dinner meals.

The property is close to Freiburg and offers nice air conditioned rooms for a good price. We were in a bedroom on the top floor that has reduced headroom near the right side of the bed so caution is advisable for watching out for the ceiling. The air conditioning works very effectively. There is no refrigerator in the room but the staff is very willing to devote some space in the kitchen refrigerator for you. The helpfulness of the staff is a big plus here! And the parking is off-street and free.

The breakfasts are only average or a little below average for hotel breakfasts these days.

Very convenient location for a sleepover. The apartment is very clean and spacious for a small baby. The staff is very supportive and nice.

No reception but found the left key ok.No fridge tea or coffee in room .Restaurant shut( not informed) Credit and debit cards didn’t work.Had to find a cash machine to pay.Won’t be going back.

In general this was a fairly good hotel. A little thought and minimal cost would make it so much better.Staff were helpful and friendly, the room was a decent size, the bathroom and shower were good. Breakfast was good. and the evening meals (at their restaurant (on the other side of the road) were good if expensive.

This is the only hotel I have stayed in, in any country (I have stayed in 10), where I have been given a single duvet for a double bed.Only one, thin, pillow originally provided - a second, better, one was given on request.I found the mattress rather hard.The room lighting needs rethinking; not adequate without the 'bedside light', yet this is no good (glares, points in the wrong direction, immovable) when actually in the bed.

The apartment was top level (roof) and elevator would have been nice as we had a lot of luggage. Additionally the room height was not really high, so I would not recommend the top level to tall people.
