About
Blue Bay lies on one of the most hospitable and exquisite spots of Peloponese, Psathopyrgos. On the coast of the Corinthian Gulf and by the green slopes of the Panachaicon Mountain, Chroutsa, Blue Bay represents the combination of green and blue that is island and mainland in one. Ideal for relaxation and revitalization, Blue Bay is nestled among olive and willow trees, with a spectacular view of mainland Greece. It is steps away from the cosmopolitan life of Patras, near the historic Kalavryta, as well as the more important archeological sites such as Delphi, Olympia, Epidaurus and Mycenae. Blue Bay is the perfect base for excursions to "Classical Greece".

Pros +
- Extremely friendly staff, clean rooms, nice breakfast, and a beautiful outdoor area & pool. Also oceanfront with nice views from our room. Wish we could have stayed longer than 1 night.
- Admin at the hotel was very welcoming, hotel is very family oriented, lovely pool , home Greek food was absolutely delicious. We spent amazing day with family due to our stay . Definitely will recommend
- Very run down. Old building. Our first room - air con didn’t work. The room phone didn’t work. When I eventually rang them from my mobile, argued with the man who insisted I did g k ow how to use the aircon, finally came up and yes it didn’t work. They were quick to give us another room and apologised
Cons -
- The view. The pool and the staff are lovely - well most of them.
- When we arrived the balcony door was not locking properly but the hotel handled it right away. They do offer dinner at an inexpensive rate 8euro/person. However, you need to book this early in the morning to be able to eat their at night. If you arrive after 12pm your too late. The good news is there are lots of much better places to eat in the surrounding area. The overall room cleanliness could be a bit better. Its not five star but around 3.5. Overall had a great time and would return.
- rooms would benefit from a renovation, however, one does not spend there much time anyway

Pool and Ocean area were wonderful. The facilities were very nice and the employees worked hard to keep the operation of a hotel tidy. The location of the resort has an awesome view. Overall I would return.

Very nice hotel area with a swimming pool, beautiful garden and a private beach, playgrounds for kids. Hotel was just a walking distance from the restaurants in the village. Good choice for a family with kids. Staff was kind and helpful.

I like breakfast and dinner, stuff was friendly
I didn’t like the fact that some of the services didn’t work during the weekend and it wasn’t mentioned on their website either
Staff was super welcoming and always happy to help!
This hotel is super old, definitely needs to be renovated. Also, I don’t think it deserves 4 stars, maybe 3. This is why: no cleaning service in the afternoon, no card to hang on the outside door. Also the cleaning service needs to be improved as I have found long black hair in my shower and the shower curtain (cheap plastic) itself was broken.
Very Nice Big Swimming Pool and next to the beach . Many Olive Trees in the Property providing Shade during Hot Summer Day.
Breakfast could have more variety
John the staff member was greatThe pool and the beach are wonderful
The room was broken with paint going off the walls and the doors were full of moisture. They did not clean the room often. The furniture were old and broken
Position, pool and the garden with the bar were amazing.. ideal for relaxing. All the staff members are very kind.
The rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable enough. The hotel area was great, so it was worth the stay for us. There's a great pool with a bar serving food and drinks, and an amazing rocky beach nearby. The staff of the hotel is friendly and helpful.
The rooms are very simple, the bathroom is very basic and needs maintenance. There was air conditioning, though not very strong and made a lot of noises, which was quite disturbing at night.
the hotel although a little dated was clean, tidy & comfortable, the pool & beach areas were nice & relaxed & the location was outstanding & unmarked by mass tourism which just made the place shine.what makes this place special are the family that run it, & the staff who work here.i'd have to say this is probably the most relaxing place I've ever stayed, it did not feel like a hotel at all; more like they were inviting you in to their family home.full of advice that made my trip better than i had hoped, always on hand & generous too.this is a great hotel in a great location & to top it off the owner is a biker making this place very biker friendly, the secure off street parking and location was originally why i picked this hotel, the owner, his family & the staff are why i will return.i even got a day riding in the mountains of northern Peloponnese with the owner which ended up being one of the highlights of my trip.i would recommend this place to those who want more for less & don't mind putting in the effort to find what they really want in a trip.i also found this hotel to be an excellent base from which to explore the Peloponnese by motorcycle with all the sites within very easy reach, the Peloponnese really is a bikers paradise.a huge thanks to all at the Florida blue bay & Motogreece.
not a single thing, i couldn't find anything i didn't like.
Clean room and very comfortable bed. The staff was very friendly and polite, the pool area was very pleasant and the food was good.
There were no bedside power outlets. Our room had only 1 free power outlet that works only when the key card is inserted in the power switch. We had to take turns in charging our phones at the beginning, and we had to stay in the room in the meantime, so we asked for a spare key card. Also, not a deal breaker, but our room seemed to need a renovation. There were visible signs of various repairs in the walls.
Location and the garden was above our expectation. A peaceful place to take rest. And the garden was safe and suitable for a five-year kid. Breakfast was more than enough.
Rooms and furnitures need renovation. But not a big problem.
The staff were great. We happened to be the first guests of the season and had the entire place to ourself the first day - including the chef. The pool is beautiful, and bieng oceanfront was one of our priorities. The facility had ample outdoor loungers over a large area giving a spacious private environment. The gardens were amazing. It had the best ambiance of all the places we stayed during our 3 week visit in Greece, and that was due to the beautiful large property and amenities - incredable amenities. They even did my laundry.
The floors in the rooms were a little tired, and would have preferred a bed that was not split in the middle, or at east sheets that held the 2 mattresses together.
The only redeeming quality of this hotel is its location.
Do you love retro vibes and vintage decor? Do you enjoy sleeping on lumpy mattresses and scratching your skin all night? Do you crave bland and boring food that makes you lose your appetite? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this hotel is perfect for you! This hotel is like a time capsule from the 70s, but with 50 years of wear and tear. Everything is original, from the carpets and wallpaper to the bedding and curtains. The beds are so uncomfortable that you’ll wish you brought your own sleeping bag. And don’t be surprised if you find some unwanted guests in your room, like bed bugs or mould. The bathrooms are old and dingy, with cracked tiles and leaky taps. The towels are so rough that they could be used as sandpaper. The breakfast is also a disappointment, you’ll be better off skipping it and finding a bakery nearby. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Amazing escape! Pool’s awesome, so as bar! And the view of the sea and mountains at the back is just breathtaking! Can I move here?
The location was nice just by the sea
Old building, the drain’s were smelling and the water in the showers was over floating even for a quick 10mins shower. Also the cleaners cleaned only once even though we stayed for 3 nights.
Lot of shade under the olive trees
WinWin d and waves
friendly staff, excellent food, clean pool, clean room
