    Pros +

    • I liked the surrounding, the spaciousness, the utilities available in the kitchen, but the premisses really stood out. There's also a legend a friendly ghost...
    • Great customer service! We did not realize we needed to arrive prior to 18:00, when the registration personnel were finished for the day. The woman in charge called us to find out when we were arriving and waited for us, extending her day by at least 45 minutes. We are very grateful she went above and beyond -- I was very impressed with her taking the initiative and being kind enough to wait for us. I also liked the uniqueness of the setting -- it was a rare experience for us to stay in a castle. The garden and grounds were also very beautiful. Loved everything about this place.
    • Its a very nice and silet place: hotel, museum, breakfast. Hotel - castle. Historical place.

    Cons -

    • I missed contact with the staff. The staff wasn't visible.
    • I have no complaints or suggestions. I would have enjoyed having dinner at the castle, but they were not open on Monday nights. I think they are available on Thursdays through Sunday. But that's not a criticism -- I hope they have enough occupancy in the future to extend their dining availability to the rest of the week.
    • Breakfast can be more vide. Its like continental now.

    Everything is fine

    Breakfast was perfect!

The castle itself might have been more clean. There were millions of dead flies in the tower! So we couldn't quite catch a good view.

Ok, if you want to stay in countryside, but don't expect anything more

Room had a weird, specific smell to it. Water pressure in bathroom was fidgeting and non-consistent. Pillows were very uncomfortable, and the mattress, in my opinion, was way past replacement date

The grounds of the Palace were beautiful to walk around in. It was a lovely location. Other than the things we didn't like, the rest was good.

The walls between the rooms are very thin. We were disturbed by a family next to us who were quite loud. This was after 9.30pm. One of them snored and we could hear it clearly in our room. We did not realise from the pictures that there were steep stairs up to our bed and that the toilet was downstairs. We had to leave the light on in the lounge so we could safely go down the stairs to go to the toilet in the middle of the night. Finally, because of the way the shower is, water runs over the bathroom floor.

    the castle grounds

nothing comes to mind it was a basic economic place to stay one night

It is a place with a historical vibe with beautiful scenery. I enjoyed walking in the adjacent park during the evening. The dusk, autumn fog and the outdoor lights gave the much-needed peace from the city buzz.

I wouldn't recommend having breakfast at the hotel. It has too few food options, tasteless coffee and no fruits. Take a 7-minute drive to the city where you'll find better choices and better value for money.

Beautiful castle in scenic location, well preserved! Excellent place for celebrations. The room was clean, but very small and the bathroom was tiny - not very comfy. The shower curtain kept falling down.

The breakfast was poor- nothing much to choose from, and the catering service was super slow. We had to wait for coffee machine to be cleaned 20 min to get the coffee.

Nice quiet location, lots of potential

Remote location, so mini fridge could be really must in room

    Good

Early breakfast to go. Asking €8, it consists of: a small bottle of juice, a small yogurt, 4 pieces of dry bread. A disposable knife and fork can be bitten on.

Location, room interior nicely recreated, friendly service.

Such a beautiful place. Almost magical atmosphere. One could walk hours around in the surroundings. Room was nicely renovated.

It was HOT inside the room. No air conditioning, and opening one window didn’t help, as we had room at the sunny side of the house. We had ”two-story” room, and it was impossible to try to open the ”upstairs” window for someone under 200cm. I think there must be a tool for windows like that, called opening pole, but that tool could not be found. I think that tool would have saved my sleep.

    Location, staff, calmness.

A bit older style rooms. I was not aware that rooms are not in castle itself, but in separate building. Quite not soundproof :)

Good breakfast, historic building, discounts, unique ambiance, well equipped room.

A weird smell permeated the building, no view from room (window was in slanted roof)

Secluded, lovely nature, nice and hospitable staff.

The walls are a bit thin between the rooms. That would be all I can say. :D
