Waldhotel Bad Jungbrunn

Wonderful hotel. It's down a private street, you would never know it's there driving by. Good place to stay if you have a car. Big room with a couch. Bed is very soft and comfortable. Delicious breakfast. Nice staff. Quiet.

Nothing to complain about

This was a delightful family run hotel on the outskirts of Lienz. We were made very welcome and really enjoyed the dinner and breakfast meals. The room was a modest size but had everything we needed.

The hotel has a perfect location in the middle of a forest. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast was great and the coffee was really delicious.

A piece of mind in the forest, far from the noise and the traffic. Very good location if you want to enjoy the nature. Good choice of meals for the dinner and a beautiful breakfast makes the stay pleasant. Very nice building, reception area and restaurant. Easy to find and reach with bikes.

We had some problems with even basic English. Bathroom is small, room style is quite mixed; old (style) cupboard with modern beds made the appearance of the room a bit strange. The floor was creaking while walking on it; this can be disturbing during the night. Nevertheless, this will not ruin your stay if you plan to spend more time out.

The staff was friendly. The hotel is located in a quite and isolated place, so there's no noise from passing cars and such. The rooms were big enough and look nice.

The beds were uncomfortable for us. We thought there would be a TV in the room and didn't notice it's missing from in the room description... We had high expectations for the breakfast, based on the other reviews, but were disappointed with it.The breakfast was varied and tasty, but quite small (we were 4 people and got 4 slices of tomato and 4 slices of cucumber). Also, we were asked during breakfast if we want eggs (I think we were asked about "sunny side up"). About 15 minutes later we got soft boiled eggs, but we almost finished everything on our plates by then.

A very nice hotel with very friendly staff and one of the better breakfasts I have had. The family room is huge.Just don’t expect to be in the middle of anything happening. This place is for relaxing

When we came for check-in the reception was empty and the number in the reception did not work.

Very quite and nice hotel which is located at the foot of mountain. Staffs were nice and helpful. Chef was so kind and food was very delicious:)

A bit away from the villiage but not so difficult to find the hotel.

The breakfast was excellent, as was the food in the restaurant. I especially appreciate that the ingredients were sourced locally. The staff was very friendly, especially with our small son. The surroundings were very quiet.

For us it was not much of a problem, but our elderly aunt who was travelling with us was unhappy that the rooms were not cleaned everyday. We were told this is house policy and I can totally accept that.

Beautifully located in a forest and extremely quiet. My room and bathroom were surprisingly large, well appointed and complemented by a balcony. The breakfast was exceptionally good and beautifully presented. Dinner was excellent.

No refrigerator in the room.

Relaxing and peaceful hotel in a lovely location of the Austrian alps. Simple, nice and quant hotel and room. Comfortable bed with friendly and helpful staff. A lovely breakfast.

The breakfast was incredible, beautifully prepared, my husband mentioned I was vegan and they were able to cater for me, it was delicious.

The room was comfortable and the shower very good. I slept well on the matrass and the stay was quiet despite there being many guests. It was easy to get back on the highway.

It is not a question of not liking something or seeking improvement.

The breakfast was very good. The private parking was also very good.

The room was exceptionally small without air-conditioning. We couldn't even open the window because just outside was the forest. There wasn't any barrier between the forest and the window. Any wild animal could enter, so we couldn't leave it open! It was a hot and stuffy sleepless night. Also Wi-fi was very poor.

At the end of a track but no obvious way to go for a walk in the woods or surroundings.
