Incredible welcome from the lady Receptionist. She helped us arrange our bus travel the next day, recommended places of interest to see in the town and also made recommendations for nearby restaurants. She was very kind, helpful and sincere. Our room was spotless and had everything we needed. The location is near the port (1min walk), the Tourist Office (3min walk) and the town centre is about 10 mins walk.

Clean, quiet, functional, within walking distance of a good restaurant.

I dislike the clammy plastic shower curtain. It’s a small point but a glass door would be preferable.

Perfect location for the trip we had. Close to shops and restaurants in a town full of history.

A bit soulless outside the town but very convenient

The friendly staff, always ready to help and go the extra mile. The view from the bedroom, the comfort of the place and the convenient parking.

The staff were very friendly and tried to accommodate us. Breakfasts were good and the hotel was clean and conveniently positioned.This could be a very good hotel with a few little tweaks.

The room we were offered was upstairs, not ground floor as specified on Booking.com. We were then given a ground floor room which was small and relatively noisy, able to hear clearly the guests in rooms adjoining and opposite. When we queried the sound proofing the management seemed confused as to why we expected that. we were expecting this because Booking. com quoted it in their room specification.Lesson Learnt: Don't believe Booking.com descriptions. We wont be using them again although we would stay in the hotel again as long as we book direct.Booking.com sales techniques (Mis representation).Hotel staff had very little understanding of English, even though we tried to speak our limited French we struggled at times.Very little storage space in the rooms and lighting poor.

Lovely low key hotel. Excellent self serve breakfast. Easy walk into town. Overlooking the estuary. Helpful staff.

Wifi did not reach the room, only in the lounge by reception.

Room was very fresh and clean and the bathroom was good. Plenty of parking. Nice location and easy to walk into town for a meal. Self service breakfast was good. We were happy with our one night stay.

Quiet room, large comfortable bed, bathroom, extensive choice at breakfast. Good location to walk into historic town with on-site parking.

Reception was only open until 8pm. It would have been nice to have acess to a larger indoor seating area in case of bad weather and also some seating in the garden area. The shelving and hanging space was very small with no lighting nearby.
