Hotel Schloßblick Trebsen

Location od the Hotel was good for a visit to Colditz Castle

No Lifts in the Hotel, very noisy guests late evening which may be out of the Hotels control but still had an impact on sleep quality and time

Location was close to festival, room was spacious, staff where friendly

No elevator, and we were on 3rd floor with a lot of luggage, and no air con and could do with a mini fridge in room

Friendly staff, good breakfast, great location

Nice quite place

Furniture and carpet is old

Place clean and tidy, quiet location.

Only disappointment on arrival at 6pm when the whole hotel was locked, no instructions given what to do in such a situation. The phone number on the hotel door didn't work so we tried the phone number provided by the app we booked the hotel through and luckily we got a response and help but this could be improved for the future

I liked some of the staff member and the owner. They were very helpful and find a good proposal the day after to manage the issues we had with one member staff at our arrival who gave us a smoking room double with separate beds instead a non smoking room double and then left leaving us without the possibility to change the room and have one as we booked. But in the morning the lady at the desk and the owner were very helpful and fair to set up the issue. Therefore we thank them and recommend this place ! Because they were very fair!

Hotel in nice position on Town square with free public car park next door - nice walk to nearby river - room clean and confortable - breakfast good and reasonable price

Arrived 4pm front and back doors locked - rang bell no answer - called phone number on booking and a young lady came to door - we had pre-booked a double room so gave our name and she gave us a key - said breakfast will be in the restaurant - asked if serving dinner she said no restaurant is closed - she unlocked a door to the hotel area and said room is upstairs - went to room to find it was a twin room - room was ok but not what we booked - couldn't get back to find lady as all the doors were locked again - same young lady at breakfast and check-out - she had to phone someone to ask how much to charge us for breakfast - it says rooms have river view - hotel almost empty but we were given a room with view of road - seems other people also given twin rooms when asked for double -

- Late check in was possible. After a call there was a man who did a quick check in - Spacious room - Nice view of the Schloss- Parking was safe and enough place- Price is good

- The carpet looks a little dirty with the stains. A new carpet would look more clean. - Matrass was really uncomfortable

We arrived late and leave a little bit later, but the hotel was flexible. It is a nice place to sleep. The morning view from the room was amazing. Deer roaring can be heard at night.

I arrived at the hotel before check-in time, but the employees let me into the room. it meant a lot to me because I was on a bike trip and had an injury that I needed to treat. they were very accommodating to all my needs.

location

Brekfast was horrible, no reception at evening (22:00) no Water on the rooms such a high temperature day, Staff is not look profetional

Rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. Parking was available and it was easy to find the hotel.

At the checkin, the staff didn't speak any English making it difficult to understand what was being said, including the directions to the room. We just had to understand the hand gestures

Friendly staff, nice food and a safe place to park a vehicle.
