Pros +
- Location in the Black Forest
- Staff was excellent. Room facilities were OK and pretty clean. There is a good variety of food at breakfast. The staff work hard and are devoted to the hotel guests.
- Comfortable bed, clean facilities. Pet friendly.
Cons -
- Food was bad, beds were uncomfortable and unsanitary (especially the pillows - gave us allergies). The staff charged me twice for the booking and couldnt figure out how to cancel the charge for 5 entire days…
- The place is not the fanciest hotel we have been to. Room facilities were OK and pretty clean (the shower head and shower safety bar on wall fell apart while showering). For shampoo and shower gel you get these small packs which were not refilled every day and you need to go down and ask for more. Food was decent. Take into account that the hotel hosts large groups and if you do not enter the dining room on time you may be left with no food. It happened to us only once but caused us to be kind of "nervous" about being on time for breakfast. Although hotel has an elevator, if you are in a wheelchair, it is that accessible since there are steps all over (easy accessibility was an issue we had to deal with)
- Main door locked on arrival.Too many spooky looking dolls - not to our taste !
