Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The room was very nice, spacious, and offered a truly relaxing environment. The beds were comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. We instantly loved the setting of the charming village.The host was fantastic: nice, responsive, and accommodating. We appreciated that he brought a kettle and mugs to the room immediately upon request.A major highlight was the exceptional breakfast.

Very cosy, spacious, and clean rooms at Stavraetos Apartments! Even though we stayed only one night, we had a very relaxing time! A great place to stay in Sirako - hopefully, we will visit again!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Stavraetos in Syrrako this September. The hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of the village, offering a beautiful view and a serene atmosphere. Our room was immaculate and beautifully decorated, providing a cozy and comfortable retreat.The food at the hotel's restaurant was exceptional, with a variety of delicious dishes that we thoroughly enjoyed. What truly made our stay memorable was the owner, who was incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful throughout our visit. Their warm hospitality made us feel right at home.Overall, Stavraetos is a gem in Tzoumerka, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Syrrako.

The location was amazing but the best part was how willing the host was to help us. George went well beyond our expectations, the meals we had in the restaurant were exceptional

Excellent location, traditional breakfast and very friendly staff.

Stylish traditional Greek Village style with comfort. Staff were friendly in hotel and local taverna. Breakfast on the terrace with a great view of the mountains was a good spread - more than we could eat. Spacious very clean bedrooms and comfortable beds. Duvets provided - it's still cold at night in the mountains. Nice shower, good hot water.

Beware which entrance you park your car at. We landed up in the wrong place and it was a long scramble over difficult paths to get to the hotel. Handrails are not common on steps in Greece, but this hotel and village could do with a few more! Not suitable for anyone with mobility problems, although luggage could be transported on a motorised trolley.

long driving to almost every attraction, on difficult to drive but breathtaking road. the car parking is far but the staff help carrying the luggage

The owner “Tatiana” was kind and helpful. The big plus if this hotel is the restaurant that offers great food with good prices.

The very small tv which had a very bad signal reception during our stay and the lack of some view (a big window or a small balcony).

Little hard to reach

All was amazing!! George know how to make you feel comfortable. He speaks Romanian a little and is very kind. We ate in his taverna and it was delisious. We discovered a small village in the mountains all in stones, with quite nice houses and people. Lost in heaven this what I would say about this place :)

Stavraetos was definitely the best accomodation during our month-long Balkans trip.Splendid location, overlooking the plateia of a beautiful village. Getting there was half the fun - a longish drive on winding roads in one of the most spectacular areas of Europe. The village of Syrrako has preserved its authenticity and is much less touristy than the villages of the nearby more popular Zagoria area.The property is located in an atmospheric old house. Our charming room was furnished with a lot of style, yet including full modern comforts. Very friendly hosts, English spoken.As an added bonus, they also operate a restaurant serving delicious local food for very reasonable prices.Syrrako is located at an altitude of ca. 1150 meters, so nights and mornings are cool even in summer. Anyway, as we visited during a heat wave of historic proportions our room still got quite warm, so adding a small fan to the room would be a good idea for such periods which are sadly quite likely in the future.Free parking on the outskirts of the village, some 10 minutes walk from the hotel (the village itself is car-free which adds to its charm).
