- Breakfast was comprehensive continental style. Staff were amazing, evening meal was even more amazing. Location was perfect for me; quiet, countryside, small-town/village style. Lovely place for an evening stroll.
- Property was clean and the staff were amazing. Felt so welcome and the food was lovely. Christine was lovely, nothing was too much and she was always on hand to answer questions.
Cons -
- We loved everything
- Beds were a little uncomfortable but the rooms were big and spacious.
- Evening meal fairly expensive. Bedroom didn't have a mountain view which said there was but we had just come from Austria where there are proper mountains so was a little disappointed.

A family owned hotel with friendly customer service and a good buffet breakfast. Rooms were comfortable and the area is very quiet, so sleep is not interrupted by outside noise. Restaurants in the area close on Monday and Tuesday, so we had to drive to the next town to find dinner - not a big deal since we arrived by car. We would gladly stay there again.
Room very clean and comfortable. Good choice of breakfast.

Excellent hotel with extremely friendly staff. Room was nice and large with great facilities. The restaurant was a little pricey but the food was really good.Very clean and presentable. great value for your money. The breakfast was free with a great variety of bread, meats, muesli, yogurt, and eggs. The lady serving was very freindly and spoke really good English.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The lady owner was especially kind and (lucky for us) speaks very good English. We stopped off on our way to Baden Baden traveling from the south of Germany and I'm glad we did. I guess this is a traditional guest house in a quiet village and there are some beautiful places to visit nearby.
Nothing - everything met or exceeded our expectations.
Lovely family run hotel with friendly staff and excellent food
Nice hotelمFriendly staff Clean room Good breakfast مكان جميل وهادىء
The Family was very nice the food was great
The Town was very quiet not a lot to do i would not stay here with out a car .
Very friendly staff, reasonably priced accommodation, good food and a good breakfast too. We enjoyed staying at Gasthof Adler
We liked everything.
The room was very spacious and clean. A kettle was lacking in the room but upon request the owner provided with it within few minutes. The bathroom fittings were having a golden finish thereby giving a very luxurious look. Entire staffs and the owner was super friendly and helpful. Another highlight over here was that all the food served here were Bio., hence it gave us the confidence to give the food to our 1 year old baby. All in all , the best thing about the hotel is the quality. You can see that in everything like the food , rooms , cleanliness, service etc.
The price was very fair for the location, accomodation and the friendliness of the staff. The breakfast might seem little in comparision to other hotels, but it has quality, that you won't find that often. I liked the personal touch of every staff member talking to you and our dog was also welcomed.
The restaurant was a little bit too expensive for us. Although the food was excellent.
The Restaurant and the breakfast menu was excellent, the staff always smiled and we felt very welcome there.
very friendly staff and very polite. the room was very comfortable and lovely bathroom with large bath. the breakfast was excellent and definitely well worth having.
Historic and full of character. breakfast included home made and local produce and was very fresh. On site parking and lovely restaurant.
The room is very clean. The bathroom is surprisingly good that we got a completely dry floor all the time, even after the shower! There is a spacious balcony, facing the mountain, giving us some relaxing time to complete a day. The staff is friendly all the time.
The building is a bit old and the wall is quite thin - we can hear the neighbor talking and walking. The mattress is also old and deformed significantly.
We rented a car as it's the easiest way to travel from/to the airport of Stuttgart and driving through the Black Forest is just magical. The Gasthof is located in the middle of the Black Forest in Tennenbronn, from where you can literally drive in. The staff is so friendly and made us feel very welcomed. Breakfast is served with home made bread and local products like different type of jams, butters, cold cuts, cheese and eggs which taste amazing! We also had dinner twice at the restaurant and their Zwiebelrostbraten with Spaetzle is just to die for along with their desserts. It's my second time here and would come definitely again.
Everything has exceeded my expectations!
- their restaurant's dinners are superb, but that's something in addition.(their breakfast is just a normal kind of buffet)- the service is very friendly- the room is very clean and the bed is very comfortable- the balcony is cute~- the guest card they give you allows you to travel local public transportation for free during the entire stay and also gives some discounts to black forest's tourist places, such as the Waterfall in Triberg.
- since the room is on the end of the aisle, the WLAN was so weak that you could only connect them for seconds if you put your devices against the wall, so we couldn't use their WLAN at all (nor the parking place, but they charged 6 euro for both of these services)- noise-canceling-wise, you can easily hear people talking, showering, and even walking next door.- the hairdryer is huge but super weak, even when my fingers and hands got very sore using it, my hair was still not nearly dry. Would recommend bringing your own.tips about the town:- there's basically only one bus in the town, so if you travel here by public transportation, then better pay attention to its schedule. - most restaurants here only accept reservations.- the supermarket closes at 18:00
very friendly staff and cozy and very clean rooms.
