Walhalla Zen Hotel Regensburg

Nice and peaceful location, very clean, great breakfast, free parking in front of the hotel. The hotel staff is extremely polite and nice. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We spent 5 nights at the Walhalla Hotel Regensburg Hoeferer. The beautifully maintained building has all the amenities one can expect from a high-quality hotel. The large garden is well-kept, the interior is designed with taste, the modern furnishings and appliances are of high quality. Everything is very clean and well cared for. The family is very nice; they made us feel at home. The breakfast is excellent and plentiful.The location, in a suburb of Regensburg, is perfect for a longer stay to explore eastern Bavaria.In sum, everything was perfect, we would love to go back!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Walhalla in Regensburg. A male receptionist made an oddly rude comment pertaining having a newborn child. He was in no place to make a comment about our family.

Excellent host! Friendly, smily stuff, making your stay cozy and home-feeling.New hotel, with everything needed. Clean, comfy. Beds have very soft and special bed clothes. My highlight- Lavazza coffee machine (so better than nespresso!)Breakfasts are good, with wide range or special tea.Calming atmosphere of natur-hotel. Chickens (also very quite!) and super cute dog:)Good sauna with cold bath and hot-tub outside in the quite spa-corner.Free Parking right at the hotel outside.

It is a bit in the middle of nowhere but that means it was quiet in the night.

The property and all the people are fantastic. Even the chickens were entertaining. Close to Regensburg. Easy drive to Munich. Everyone was so friendly. Greeted every time just like you were family or close friends. Breakfast was a nice spread. Ground floor units 1-4 have patios so you can enjoy. I was treated to a few chickens walking along the grass on their morning walk. There are several places and things to do.

No issues what so ever with the property. Next Time (hopefully another time) I would have no issue staying here - in fact probably would go out of my way to stay hereI recommend you NOT use Apple Maps to locate - they show the wrong place a half mile away. I have sent in the easier.

Gerry and Antje welcomed us and made us immediately feel like we were in their home. We sat at their bar and enjoyed beers and great conversation. As a bonus, their dog, Charlie, was a very good boy and the chickens were very entertaining.

We were sad that our visit was only two days and that we did not have time to use the traditional sauna.

Excellent breakfast. Nice quiet location. Very helpful staff. Will stay here again if travelling this way.

The information on Booking.com was misleading:1.When we arrived the hotel desk manager asked for € 10 for the use of the kitchen facilities in the room; these were locked. However, on booking.com website no additional charge was mentioned for the use of the kitchen facilities. After some discussions we the hotel desk manager agreed to open the kitchen facilities for us. 2.The address on the booking. com website was Regensburg. The confirmation we received from Booking.com was also an address in Regensburg: Gewerbegebiet (= Industrial Estate) Nord 6, Regensburg. However, the hotel is located Gewerbegebiet Nord 6, Tegernheim, a city in the neighborhood of Regensburg. It took quite some time before we realized we should not be in Regensburg for this address but in Tegernheim.The misleading information on booking.com was really a disappointment.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Superb breakfast. Very clean, spacious rooms. Very, very quiet. Close near Regensburg and Walhalla. Groceries (if you want or need some ) around the corner. Some good restaurants in walking distance (10-15 minutes max). Free parking.

We had a stopover at Walhallahotel going from Luxembourg to Budapest with my wife. We choose the hotel because of the promising reviews and the convenient location.The experience was above our expectations: the communication was smooth, upon our arrival the staff was professional and super helpful, and the room and the hotel were designed with good taste and with high-quality materials. The bed was comfortable and the room`s cleanliness was impeccable. The breakfast had a wide variety of delicious and fresh options with great presentation and with very good food quality.Despite being a heavy light sleeper, I had a peaceful and quality sleep, so we decided to stay here again on our trip back home, to Luxembourg.We highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Will definitely be returning on our next visit, to discover more the Regensburg area!

Could not stay longer as we a had a tight agenda

The rooms are clean and well maintained

There was nobody at the reception when we arrived at the property, we checked in at a machine and while the booking said our stay includes breakfast, on the machine we were suggested it is without breakfast and we had the option to add and pay for breakfast which we did, ending up to pay twice for breakfast in a one night stay. In the morning we requested a refund but were blaintly told it can’t be done. We accepted that but we requested at least some complimentary drinks or food on the go but as well were refused, with no refund being made as well. Therefore, customer service is completely lacking. Also, the breakfast was varied but very small, on small plates a few slices of ham and few of cheese etc, even the juice finished and was only replaced when verbally requested. I would not recommend the stay but if you do decide to stay it will be on your on risk as if any problem will occur, they reception staff will not be bothered to help in any way. We will not come back and will never recommend the place to any of our friends and family.
