Stunning facilities with a strong sense of history and in a spectacular location with panoramic mountain views. The owners are proud of what they have achieved and dedicated to hosting their guests.

The whole place, rustic, charming, excellent decor, The hosts ( Susan and markus) were friendly and chatty.

The location was quite remote and involved some buttock clenching turns on narrow roads with steep drops as you negotiated the mountainous area that led to the hotel. The hotel was quiet. The views were lovely. The host was extremely attentive.

The aircon worked adequately. It had few other guests so the restaurant closed the second night of our stay so we had to go and fend for ourselves. There only seemed to be one other restaurant open nearby so we went to a small supermarket and had a pleasant evening on our balcony eating food.

The breakfast was very good, you could request more than just a continental breakfast. The owners were very pleasant and helpful, in fact you were made to feel like one of the family. We ate lunch and dinner at the hotel, prepared by the owner which was delicious and of his suggestion. The hotel was off the beaten track, in the Spanish campo, it was beautifully gardened, the swimming pool and lounge area were perfect. This was a place to completely relax and unwind and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding scenery. A beautiful, tranquil hotel but having a perfect Spanish village nearby. The bedroom was spacious with a view of the terrace area and garden. The bathroom was huge with a big walk in shower and toiletries were supplied. I could not recommend this hotel and the owners more highly and would certainly return at a later date.

The owners made our stay, lovely friendly and welcoming.The areas surrounding the hotel were breathtaking.Secure parking included in price was a bonus.

We were extremely disappointed with the breakfast. There appeared to be a good amount of choice but nothing really gelled.With being fairly isolated, I do feel a cooked breakfast would enhance the stay there for the majority of people.Unfortunately we were given 1 pillow each , a second could have been available in one of the many cupboards.

Just wow !!.Absolutely amazing stay in this beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. But the real icing on the cake was the owners , so friendly and happy they really couldn't do enough for us .I dont normally leave a review but this was such an excellent experience .Thankyou so much for making our holiday ?

Location staff and ambience exceptional

Very quiet and peaceful, with rustic charm, the host was very friendly and welcoming

Unfortunately it is located along a very windy road with several hair pin bends and sharp corners, not for the nervous driver. However that’s the price you pay for isolation and tranquility.

Everything was pretty spectacular, the bedroom, the bathroom, the balcony, the scenery, the grounds, the food, the service, everything. Absolutely fantastic, an incredible experience.

spooky experience

everything! it was almost a surreal experience! felt like a lost place in time… outdated from all points of view. we had a fighting night with hundreds of mosquitoes; the owner could have easily put a mosquito trap for us; instead, he was goofing when we told him so. we had to leave a night before because it was unbearable.

Like being welcomed into someone's home. Friendly and efficient. Definately will go again.

We loved the location and warm welcome. The owners made us feel at home. We had a lovely time, and will return.
