The room and the spa were amazing and the breakfast was very good. The staff was nice.

Throughout the hotel and restaurant the decor and fittings are new, tasteful and of a high standard.Our bedrooms overlooked the river, with a great view of the mountains and the pretty town.We ate dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and were not disappointed.

Our bedrooms were on the 2nd (top) floor, the stairs are fairly steep & narrow for carrying luggage up, and there is no lift. It is probably not possible to install one in the space available. This is not a complaint - just something for guests to be aware of.

Easy to find, nice restaurant and bar, really lovely staff. We chose to stay in this town particularly for a family function, but Tarascon seems pretty enoughand well connected by if you wanted to visit a few bits of the Ariège in one trip . Seemed well priced compared to the three other hotels in the town and rooms were fine, clean and with good recently re-done bathrooms. The restaurant looks right on to the river Ariege and is lovely gif breakfast in the morning.

It is an old building, so we were not surprised to find that there was no lift to our rooms on 2nd floor. Also beware if you book on a Tuesday night or Wednesday as the free and very local parking is also the marketplace on Wednesdays.

The location was magical, on the river in the beautiful mountains. Our family room was spacious, clean and cool. Restaurant for evening meal convenient and delicious. Staff friendly and accommodating.

Parking was on the road, but we found a space near hotel. Breakfast was limited.

The view from the rooms and the location of the hotel are great, the breakfast room is splendid, the food served for breakfast is very good. And beautiful and calm Tarascon-sur-Ariège is well worth a visit, although it doesn't range among the best known holiday destinations in France. Just go there and have a look yourself! You will love the town!

Amazing location designed to make as much as possible from the proximity to the river. if your lucky enough to have a room on the river side the views are amazing.

there was a smell of smoke when entering our room. clearly someone has smoked in the room, which is a little annoying.

Family room was small.

The room, when we finally reached it, was comfortable, well equipped - including a kettle - and the bathroom spacious. Pleasant view of the river. The riverside restaurant downstairs was welcome as Tarascon seems to have a dearth of eateries. No dedicated parking but you may be lucky with a spot in the small square opposite.

Most rooms are upstairs, there is no lift and the stairs are steep and winding with a dangerously positioned fire door at the top. There appears to be no alternative fire escape route. We struggled badly to get our luggage to our second floor room.

The view, air-conditioning, kettle for tea. Bed was ok, pillows passible.

It was an Auberge, motel, but hotel is a bit of a stretch. There is no WIFI on 2nd floor. This place has a restaurant but breakfast was really poor and bad value for the money.

The location and the view are amazing! The staff was also really lovely.

The breakfast was very basic and slightly disappointing for me, but I wouldn’t say it was “bad” either. There also was a lingering smell in the room that we managed to get rid off only by opening the windows at all times including at night. Overall a very good stay really, I would even recommend the hotel, but a bit overpriced considering the details I mentionned.
