Playitas Aparthotel - Sports Resort

C'est un site très bien situé et avec un équipement des plus complet en plus d'être un bon rapport qualité prix

À notre arrivé on nous à attribués une chambre studio alors que nous avions réservés un appartement une chambre , nous leurs avons fait part de leurs erreur. Il nous on dit qu'il y avait eu un dégât d'eau et nous on proposé --- euros par jour ?Sur

- Sport section is great! Most of the trainers and coaches are very motivated (Stephane, Kitty, Leo, guest instructors Lars, Peter B.)- When I asked cleaning ladies to clean our room before 13:00, it was properly done. - Oscar at the reception was helpful. Three receptionist ladies were unprofessional. - Kids club girls are very motivated and nice. They do their best to entertain children.

- Despite early check-in request and regular check-in time at 3 pm, our room was ready at 3:30- I am not sure if receptionists are informed about all rules in the sport area. They just sent you to check everything yourself, if you need anything from them. The answers I got were not correct. They do not even know how the sport section works. If you ask to call management, they call another person from the reception, who has as little knowledge and responsibilities as the first person you talked to. - The chef does not have any understanding how “healthy” food should be. Half of the time the food is good and half of the time you have a feeling the chef, who can cook just takes days off. If the hotel positions itself as sport hotel #1 in Europe, the food must be changed completely. All wines could have been offered by glass. - Some hotel areas could have been cleaned more often. I am not sure, if yoga mats are ever cleaned.- Breakfast is from 7:30 to 10:30. Pretty long. But if you come at 10:15-10:20, one of 6 coffee machines might be working, the rest are already under cleaning and staff is collecting food for themselves. There might be no glasses for water. They can just take the rest of pancakes in front of you. If you take pictures, they say that you do not have authorization.- If you wish your pool towel to be changed, you have to pay 2€ and it does not matter, if you stay 1 night or 2 weeks. The receptionist explained that their management takes care of environment that way. It is simply a lie. Instead of “Do not disturb” sign, there is a sign “Do not clean my room”. I assume, there is a reason behind, why they created such a sign. - The water in the main pool is cold. The coach, who gave lessons to our daughter said that it is cold even for her.

We liked the facilities and the many activities available

There is not enough clarity on the set-up of the beds when booking and the customer service over the phone was not helpful also saying one thing and then completely changing the information.

The property is spacious. True to its name for the ample sports activities. The nearby beach and the wonderful staff are worth mentioning too.

The sports activities for fitness were all at 9 or 10 am. I cannot eat before the workout and after the workout is always a rush for breakfast.Secondly, food options were great but bulk food was not good in quality. Meat often too hard and pasta soggy. The staff was friendly and made up for it :)

The hotel is located in a large area, where there is something to do for sports enthusiasts and not only. There are a lot of activities for both adults and children. The food is delicious and varied.

Minus for the coffee, which wasn't tasty. That's all.

The sports facilities are amazing and the sports instructors very professional and nice. Food was very good.

The hotel is just amazing for those, who like active live style and do not want to stop training during vacation. We had super nice 2 weeks of family holidays at the end of October - beginning of November. We stayed in Playitas Aparthotel and had a spacious room (3104) with AC, double bed, sofa, cot, fridge, cooking plate, everything for cooking and dining, small workplace with a table and chairs, balcony with chairs, drying rack, safe box. I liked a lot motivating citations of famous sportsmen all over the hotel territory. All training instructors were great - Stephane, Jörg&Chris, Charlotte, Stephanie, Jonna and Lilian. My favorites were the exercises similar to cross fit in the Wod box - Metcon, power and endurance trainings etc. There is a great long promenade along the hotel. People go for walks, runs, cycling. The sunrises are just stunning. You can go for a short hike to the nearest mountains. Very beautiful. The landscape reminds of high altitude plateaus north of Chile and Bolivia.

The stuff at the reception could have been more helpful and kind. It seems like any request is a burden. When we checked in our room, it was next to the elevator. While the elevator does not produce any noise, people moving around it too. We asked to change the room and after some back and forth were offered another room… next to another elevator. I was quite surprised that the person responsible for room allocation does not have a floor plan of the building. We checked in into the first room. Some days later we were offered another room but we had to give an answer right away, without looking at it. After talking to other guests they shared the same frustration about check in and check out. The hotel claims to be the best in the Europe, therefore it should aim for it and take greater care of how people are treated.The food section for the dinner was very healthy and diverse. Though I must say often the meat, poultry and seafood meals were way too dry. I have difficulties to understand, how slowly cooked pork or thin slices of chicken breast could be so dry. I am not sure but it seems to me that the cooks were not always motivated. The food was good every second or third time.

We had half board with breakfast and dinner included. My favorite dish during breakfast was müsli with various seeds, dry fruits and local honey. I was also impressed by the number of different milks (including plant based). Fresh juice is very tasty, especially the carrot one! The hotel has a laundry with 2 washing machines. One laundry run costs 3€ but you need to bring your detergent (available at the shop on the territory of the hotel). A convenience store on the hotel territory is very convenient :) And the prices are fine, not much more expensive compared to the Spar in the neighboring village. I would say, the selection of products is better at the hotel. If you need a bigger store, Gran Tarajal is 5km away.There are various running and trail running options (to the light house or to Gran Tarajal village).

In my opinion the tiles by the kids pool are too slippery when wet (which is often). It would have been nice to have more than 2 washing machines at the laundry room.In my opinion, when the hotel is full, there is not enough personnel. For example, a couple of times our room was not cleaned, since the cleaning ladies had to prepare the rooms for those, who were checking in and we had a specific time window - from 9 till 12, since our daughter had her nap after lunch. Floor is never (or rarely) vacuum cleaned, only swept and mopped.We tried to rent kids mini bicycle but we found the rental rules very unfair: if you come to pick it up at 3 pm you still have to pay for full day and return it before 6 pm.Climbing wall is outdated. Though it might be fun for kids or people trying it first time, it would make a difference if it was more modern (an overhang or moon board would be a great alternative for the same space and difficulty).We missed kids disco (it is organized only once a week). An easy option would be some kids music from 7 or 7.30 pm at pool bar with some lights. Kids can entertain themselves. Heated pool for kids would be a killer as the water was coldish for our 3 years old daughter, who can spend in the pool the whole day.

Best playground for children, teens and adults - something for everyone. Perfectly located by the sea and surrounded by mountains.

Superb sports facilities, quite location. Appartments are spacious and clean. Staff very friendly.Food is OK, not exceptional but you have healthy choice. I recommend appartment either sea view.

Small details on the room would make it more cosy (hangers, lamps, shoe cabinet). Dishwasher would also be nice.

I love the choice of activities, and that there is something for everyone. If you don't want to do anything the pool area is great with plenty of sun beds. The beach is just there for a change of scenery. The food is fantastic, such a variety and focus on healthy choices. We love Playitas, it has something to keep everyone in the family happy.

Everything was great!

Everything was great. Staff, cleanliness, food... Our whole family was delighted - we are not sporty, but we also enjoyed the mini goal, basketball and swimming pool. We never go to the same place twice, but this time the whole family decided to go to Playitas next year :)

Clean, comfortable, beautiful resort

The restaurants close early. It’s very quiet at night altho we didn’t mind this

The sports offerings were outstanding. Wonderful food and friendly staff.

Clean and modern apartment and great sport offer. Everything easily accessible with a push chair and child friendly.

Quality food selection. Fabulous staff. Immaculate apartment. Amazing pools.

You had to pay extra for the Olympic pool.

Clean and spacious appartment, fantastic sports and leisure facilities especially olympic pool, other leisure/kids pools, plenty of activities for all ages with multiple daily organised classes (lots free of charge, some xtra paid for a reasonable fee), very handy app with daily sports schedule to organise your day, very friendly and helpful staff, amazing location and convenience of the sports shop and supermarket onsite, number of restaurants and bars with evening events, self service laundry facility, car hire office. Loved it, would be definitely back!

No toaster in the self catering appartment.
