- Food was amazing
- The staff and the food made our stay. The staff is the loveliest, always happy to help and asking if we needed anything else. The food was good and it had a lot of variety to choose from. The pool was pleasant and the drinks at the bar were good
- We had a relaxing stay at Bahia playa. The staff were all very polite and friendly. The highlights of our stay were the peacefulness of the hotel, the fresh fish cooked daily and the morning classes. Inspira fitness were absolutely fantastic. Denise's Pilates and anikas yoga classes were some of the best I've been to, all with the stunning backdrop of the waves on the sea below. Their instruction in German, Spanish, French and English was seamless and they delivered it in a way that everyone could participate and some humour to make everyone feel comfortable. There were two pools, a smaller heated one which was lovely and a larger one. Unfortunately, we were not informed that the day after we arrived they would be commencing work on the pool bar by the larger pool which was disappointing, but thankfully the smaller pool was not too busy and our room was on the other side and so could not hear the works being done. We did use the spa on one day which was a large room with a good sized spa pool with jacuzzi sections, a steam room, a sauna and a small cold pool. The full body massage was excellent with professional staff. We were all inclusive but we did walk regularly into the small town and had a delicious seafood meal overlooking the sea at La Baracca. There is a lovely promenade was which made walking very easy, around 1km long. At the far end, this led onto a cliff top coastal walk to the next town which was steep in sections but a beautiful short hike and on AllTrails app.
Cons -
- Room had a cheap feel and didn't appear clean, had an ant infestation, unbothered hotel staff, spa isn't included in the price
- The room needs a little work. It had some of the features broken or not in the best condition
- We booked a junior suite but it looked over the road and was very noisy due to the hotel nightclub below- we asked to be moved and after two nights were moved to room 228 which looked into the hotel but at 4am every morning were woken by the laundry delivery lorry as the bay was just behind our room! So the four nights we were there we had disturbed nights. The restaurant food was ok, good selection of salads but the cooked food was average.

Good out door headed pool, friendly staff, large rooms

Great gym. Good sized room. Some ok fare in the restaurant. Good basement bar for evening dancing.
Beds were horrendously hard. All inclusive wine awful (on tap). Rooms seem to be set up for couples, eg glass wall separating room from bathroom. Not great if you’re friends sharing. Had to turn down an upgrade to the romantic suites. That area was a weird set up. Not sure why it is called a design hotel.
Clean and quiet, perfect for a couples getaway
Food very repetitive but food was nice

- So many broken or disgusting details. The bathroom (shower and ceiling) looks moldy. - Wifi did not work. When mentioning it at the reception they reacted super rude and annoyed. On booking it says Wifi is accessible FREE OF CHARGE in all areas. The Wifi in the room was absolutely useless. Google opened after 4 minutes of loading. Smartly enough they offer you to pay an extra fee for fast wifi. Absolutely ridiculous. We are not in 2005. Booking reimbursed us for that. - Air con did not really work. We put it down to 15 degrees. It cooled down to maybe 22 degrees. Whole aircon looks very old. - There is an extra fee for a tiny shitty safe which plastics were even broken. - The room is absolutely dreadful furnitured. - Missing essentials like face paper towels in bathroom.- Tiny TVs. - The worst was the super rude blonde receptionist when complaining about wifi. - Beach in front of the hotel is stoney. I highly recommend that money is spent elsewhere than on this hotel.
The room, but not like the picture we viewed, thought it had a walk in shower, area, pool and staff
Food choices in the Evening and only 1 choice of local spirits, which were bad and only pepsi no coke all other soft drinks had too much soda!!! And I had to pay 6.50 for a decent whiskey... You can buy local whiskey, cheap price that tastes good
Foam party at the pool for usDisco Staff , reception lovely and really helpful Great food Rooms lovely Thank you for everything
Nice hotel, everything was well maintained, the location is fabulous, on the beach with a small village within walking distance.
The food was not particularly good, and they need more serving staff. You could be waiting 10 or so minutes to get fresh cooked meats or fish with only one staff on who was dealing with everything, the queues were long and by the time the meats were cooked everything else on your plate was cold. Very disappointed.
The heated outdoor pool
The fact there's a lot of things not included. Any drinks or food after 2300 is to be paid. The spa is not free. Nor there is a daily pass. There was 3 cockroaches and no one came to clean. We had to clean ourselves and when asked to do a deep clean the next day, nothing was changed. The food was mostly the same over the 4 days.A second pillow in the bed was also missing.
I loved our room, the food and drink, the pool and the staff were excellent. We will be back.
The decking as it was so loose, but we have been told it was about to be sorted out.
In regards to location, we were looking for a more secluded area, which this resort is perfect for. We booked a balcony with a view room and it was worth it. The beach was just a few feet away, which also added to the overall experience. There was 1 heated pool and 1 cold pool that we enjoyed and there was a lot of options for services and day at the Spa.
The food lacked variety for lunch/dinner. We preferred breakfast; my partner and I felt that it provided more options. The resort indicated that it had entertainment options, but I felt that it was pretty quiet and it tended to be livelier during the nighttime DJ.
Big and clean rooms, The food is good, but without Spanish products such as prosciutto, real paella, etc
Everything is designed so that you cannot use all-inclusive properly. All-inclusive hotel but the entire hotel serves drinks in one place, at one small pool bar. When that closes, they open another bar. In All Inclusive is for only domestic cheap drinks. They charge for everything else, at least a little higher quality, like Espresso coffee. Bacardi, Jameson, and such drinks are paid separately. If you need to change the beach or pool towel you need to extra pay. City or village has nothing in it but the location is ok for driving around the island. The beach is not good but if you have a car you can drive to wonderful beaches around 10-20km from Hotel. One pool is heated and another is not. Before breakfast people put their towels on pool chairs. If you come to the pool after breakfast you will not find the place. On all days half pool chairs are empty with towels on them.
The staff, including receptionists, waiters, and cleaning personnel, are extremely friendly and always willing to assist.
The building needs better maintenance and the spa lacks functioning amenities with no supervision. There is a variety of food, but the quality could be improved. The wifi is weak even after paying for the premium
Clean comfortable with quiet location
People placing towels on beds round pool not enough seats in the bar area
- hotel was very clean, always fresh towels- staff was very friendly- always good entertainment like aquafit or evening shows with dj and dancers- food was good- place was very quite- snacks in between lunch and dinner
- not a big varity of food (always bit the same)- pools weren‘t really heated, so it was too cold in december for swimming- besides the hotel there isn‘t much to see or to do, unless you rent a car- drinks like mojito or aperol spritz weren‘t included in the all inclusive
Clean room, good food, nice pool and amazing view in case of room with see view
There should be more stuff during diner as sometimes you need to wait to order drinks (including water too). Waiters are working very hard but the true is there should be more stuff
Room, food and facilities all great.Kayaks for hire.
Beach not the best.
