Main Palace Hotel

The room with ocean view was clean and comfortable. Very nice staff. Good location, not far from Etna, not far from Taormina with the highway.

The pool hours: it closes a little bit early (6pm)

We booked the larger rooms, and they were big, with a huge terrace and a hot tub

Restaurant was not serving meals outside breakfast and groups, the bar was really poor, and there's really nothing around. so you have to drive even for a meal.

The beach is just across the street which made for beautiful views from the balcony. Also enjoyed the bar next to lobby to get drinks & food. Service there was the best as were the options from breakfast to late night. It was also nice to have table and chairs just outside to enjoy the views.The restaurant was also very good. Only ate dinner there once and wished we would have had time to try the breakfast there.

Although I liked that the hotel had a garage with great security, the parking was tight and difficult to maneuver with a larger car.

The room was very nice and the sea view… so good. Pool looked also good, I’m just not enjoying this so much, otherwise I’d have used it for sure.

The sauna is not included in the price. You will pay 25€ for each 1,5h. The Finnish sauna was also quite cold 60C when I said it, the staff was surprised.

Everything in the hotel and bedroom was very neat and tidy. Staff were very friendly and spoke English well.

The location is perfect, room with sea view, the sea is stunning and the beach with small pebbles much better than sand. Easy to get around and visit Taormina, Castelmola, Savoca etc...

Hotel passed its heyday, the furniture shows sign of time. We had to ask for cattle and tea/sugar and the like at the reception, since it was not available when we arrived in the room.

Unfortunately I was given an accessible room, which I did not mind as it was only one night but shouldn't be given unless otherwise requested.

Andreas was the most helpful from start to finish, he was so welcoming to us and helped us with everything from recommending places to telling us to get around and make the most out of our trip! really appreciated him!

The location.. its too far from actual tourist attractions, the last train is at 9:27 to go back to the hotel. taxis cost and arm and a leg, the beaches are very rocky and the locals don’t seem to be very fond of tourists ?

Excellent Italian cuisine, kind and helpful staff, hotel and room clean, pool with a view of the sea, clean and well-maintained hotel beach with good access to the sea with the possibility of refreshments, the location is not full of people. Pleasant place for a peaceful vacation. Everything was perfect for me, beyond my expectations.

I booked a parking space when booked and when we arrived they told us it was full and no ac in summer!!

The hotel is excellent and though are stay was brief it was extremely pleasant. The staff were incredinly helpfull and accommodating. We booked the suite that had sea views and a very sizeable terrace. True value for money.

The hotel is fabulous, and the staff are great, always helpful. Fabulous if you want to sit by pool or on the beach. Room was serviced daily, absolutely anything you asked of staff, they would assist. Always someone around to assist or serve at the coffee bar.Easy 5 min walk to train station, we used the station and trenitalia app to travel to places like Taormina, Messina, and Catania.

I'm not sure if out of season (mid Sept), we think so as lorries came and took everything on the beach, including the pavements. All the shops and restaurants were shut during the day and some in the evening too unless you walked into Furci or travelled further afield. Everything was shut. Aside from that, beautiful place, very relaxing.

The view from the room was amazing, the beach just outside, and the bed was very comfortable.

The pool needs maintenance. No facilities...

The location is very good, the staff attentive, the view from the room is excellent!

The pillows are not comfortable, there was not enough toilet paper in the bathroom, we had to buy it at the local market. In the last 3 days of our stay there was not enough replacement of the hygiene products offered by the hotel itself, the TV is not a smart TV.

Happy to have made it short….

No AC in the bedroom and no support to repair it despite numerous calls. Furniture is oldish. No parking place was available at the hotel.

This hotel is pets friendly. Very attentive and responsive staff works here.

I would recommend a little variety of breakfasts.

Location and room facing to sea was great. Reception, cleaning and restaurant/ bar staff were kind and helpful.

Hotel answers to my email prior to trip left without answer even after 2 days, only when I called hotel two times on different days I got answer to my question and also night upon arrival I didnt get any answer to my email. I booked and payed car place from hotel garage, second night somebody parked partly to our place and I mentioned to reception about it, still whole next day car was taking 2 parking places. Luckily I got new parking place (most local ppl drive car like grazy and don´t care how they park their car and are very rude at traffic).Roof terrace was mentioned in hotel info but was closed and looked like under renovation or so.I mentioned about these issues to kind reception person upon check-out and payment and was hoping small contribution after all hassle (I got -5€ reduction with rude behavior from hotel manager. Staff is kind but I think hotel Manager should check her behaviour towards clients, she was simply rude!

The smell of smoke in the room.The furnuture was old.The bathing cap in the swimmingpool was uncomfortanle. Small children of ages 2-3 was refusing the cap and i saw families leaving the pool because of this.It was also confusing with the service around the pool, people orded food and drinks but there was no official service there.
