Le Domaine (Swiss Lodge)

Breakfast was basic but good. Mostly bread, croissants, cheese, ham, juices, coffee, and hard boiled eggs. On Saturday they ran out of boiled eggs quite fast, so I only managed to eat one. The bed was very comfortable and I got the extra pillows that I requested.Staff at the reception were super friendly and polite.You get a couple of vouchers that you can redeem for water/sodas.They have a small piece of land with alpacas and sheep.Very close to the Arena

I would appreciate more options for breakfast. My bed was squeaking a bit every time I moved.There was no TV in the room and no tissues (Kleenex)

Very well maintained building, beautiful garden. Breakfast was very good.

Perfect for a group and easy to get into after hours. The llamas next door were the cutest!

Great establishment. The staff are super friendly, the rooms very cleaned and comfortable. Even without AC, the rooms were comfortable despite the very hot weather. And the restaurant was fabulous, amazing food!

The only negative point i would point out to improve is the breakfast options. As a Canadian, we paid 35$ CAD each for a "continental" breakfast and the choices were lacking for the price we paid. So i would definitely improve that point.

It was clean and close to the city center. The staff were very friendly.

The hotel is very quiet, well placed with regard to shopping center, hospital of HFR, very clean, confortable and friendly staff ! Always plenty of space to safely park the car.

Great views and the animals on the property were very cool.

Felt a bit like a dormitory and the location is hard to reach from downtown. OK value for the money.

The Staff is great and the place has a nice terrasse. Ideal for travel with kids and a plae to rest, relax chill and discover the region without being in city center.

We wanted a place close to Fribourg and Bern but not in the city centre, calm, comfortable and not too expensive, with parking and breakfast. This place was all of this and met, or even exceeded the expectations. The personnel were kind, the room was basic (no TV as per their policy, few amenities) but very comfortable, the breakfast was very good, and the place has a charming atmosphere. From our room we could see a big garden with animals that they are recovering like Llamas. It was great

Room had a great view to the mountains and surrounding. Free car parking, bicycles for rent available at location.

Very clean, extremely quiet at night and great breakfast. The staff was very polite and friendly. Location on the outskirts of the city, in the middle of nature, very quiet and fresh air.

Good location, big parking, large and quite rooms (we chose a family two rooms suit), nice view from a window.

Green location, close to the highway

I understand the concept, but would liked having a TV. A bit of hustle and bustle during breakfast. Apparently here is always something to do in the hopes and they were arranging for a big event and everyone was everywhere and a but disturbing. Quite expensive, but still ok foe Zwitserland.

For the price the facilities were excellent. The room was simple, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional.

no kettle in the room, no vault.uneven levels of floor tranaferrring from one building to another, not easy when you have a luggage. but its just a minor concern. no aircon, luckily its fall season. im wondering how is it gonna be if summer.

This is a very simple place in an ex-convent, which I have reviewed before. This was my second stay, and I was very happy. Everything works well, the breakfast starts early and is pretty good, actually. There is also ample parking available right next to the hotel. All nice and easy!
