Hotel Bellevue

The breakfasts were nice, the dinner was fine, but we ended up going out for dinner one night after not finding anything we enjoyed in the buffet. The swimming pools and saunas were excellent, several options, not too crowded, clean, and open most of the day.

The staff were not very helpful, and the rooms were dissappointing. The biggest problems were inadequate ventillation (after taking showers, or leaving our swimsuits out to dry, we came back to a very muggy room), the temperature would not regulate in the room, a couple of lightbulbs were burnt out, the cleaners did not show up even though we were out most of the day, but most annoyingly the sheets on the bed were too small and came up all of the time, we were constantly having to get up and fix them.

A lot of stink bugs in the room that has fun next to a lot of spider web…It looks like the rooms were only cleaned to height of 150cm.The hair dryer did not work. When I asked for a repair, a separated hair dryer was offered - when I wanted to go to work… but not delivered to the room.No room service, which makes the hotel massively overpriced.

A nice and affordable wellness hotel with a spa, featuring both indoor and outdoor pools in an excellent location, surrounded by nature and close to the Danube River and the city of Esztergom.

The building is somewhat run-down and shows its age, a renovation is needed. The breakfast and dinner (half board) were mediocre in both variety and quality, with bland, traditional Hungarian mass cuisine.

Location is amazing

The staff couldn't help us with the mistakes on booking and they charged us more with 25% like on the website. The sofa was supposed to be extendable, but it was a very old one, and the cover it was added on......the toilet clean but the water ....just didn't stop so all night it was like a water fall...

The breakfast was more than perfect and the location is beautiful. To have your breakfast and dinner with the beautiful view of the River Danube is marvelous.

When we arrived to the hotel was 15:00 o’clock we have been waiting for the room 2,5 hours more. When we got finally the hotel room key we realised that we have 2 separate beds! I did book in advance double room with king size bed as well I asked the receptionist before we get to the room if they received my request the lady agreed. No one assist after. Hotel in general is not clean. There is so many maintenance to be done in Public and in the room.

Lovely room. We also enjoyed the outdoor pool.

Breakfast would have been better with muesli/granola/fresh fruit etc but food overall was fine.

Good location, pleasant scenery. The wellness area was nice and clean. Pools, saunas, and the atmosphere of indoor and outdoor activities left good impression on us.

The room quality was below our expectations for a three-star hotel. It was very dirty: dust on the table, and dirty floors l. One of the electricity connectors on the wall (under the TV) was broken but was still under voltage. It presented a significant risk for guests especially if they come with kids. All faucets were dirty and full of limescale and fungus. After the sunset, centipedes (scolopendras?) were climbing up the walls above the bed, which did not add a pleasant atmosphere to our stay. After centipedes, ants on the floor did not surprise us much. In the morning we were happy to leave this awful place.My main concerns about the Bellevue Hotel are the following. 1) The front office manager does not know the location of the rooms and has sent us to wrong direction on another floor. 2) How can the front office manager work on registration if he copies a 7-letter name of the guest from a computer to a paper with 2 mistakes? 3) If you do not order some expensive drink, the waiter will ignore you from that moment. It happened with us when we ordered (free) water - we were ignored till the end of dinner time. 4) There was no Internet on both days of our stay (June 21-22, 2024). No one could provide us with any information about that issue. 5) The room was dirty and unsafe. They did not even care to remove or cover up the broken electricity connector. They should do something with the insects in the room. There is no place for ants, much less for centipedes, in a three-star hotel! The shower was so dirty that none of us wanted to step in. The room was much below our expectations. I can provide photos to every above-mentioned issue.

Room was clean

Breakfast organization the breakfast finished before the end time and they didn't renew , Internet issue, there were no issue. Pool and wellness capacities. Pool was not clean and capacities of the pool and sun bed not enough

I liked pics from booking but in real life hotel look already tired and old. Location is good with view on river and close to city Breakfast was ok but could be betterSpa was good just it's so long time to wait for random start of jacuzzi, why not make some button that guests could choose by themselves when to start jacuzzi

Dinner was poor of choices and that liver was so dry not possible even to cut it. For such price quality and choices should be better.

Terrible! We booked a superior room on May 1st. For more than 10 days the hotel didn’t respond to messages, they called several times - no one answered at the hotel. We arrived on May 25 and were accommodated in a regular room without a balcony. The room also had a bad smell. We checked at the reception where our superior room was, which we booked on May 1, the girl at the reception said that all the superior rooms were occupied.But the hotel withdrew the money from the card on May 15, as for a superior room.The hotel administrator (Bánkuti Gabriella) was unable to solve the problem with the room.Since we were not offered a good room, we left.The weekend was ruined.Now we are waiting for the hotel to return our money, because the staff did their job disgustingly!I don’t recommend this hotel!

The room was nice with an amazing view and a private balcony. Breakfast included was also exceptional. Facilities like gym and tabletennis were appreciated. The area is nice for walking around and hiking. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The dinner could be better with more offers. Also the wellness part wasn’t what we expected. Only one pool was hot enough for us.

Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly. Wellness area was very nice and had extended hours perfect for any schedule! Breakfast buffet was great!

The location is near to the nature and the atmosphere of the hotel. Wellness is good. Staff is kind and flexible.

The place is clean but the facility management is really weak. (tap falling out, mirror unstable, water not going down in the shower, screw is out in sauna, broken benches outside). Bed also not the best.
